Yes, your car does get dirty when you ride the sandbox a little too much or when you've raced it a lot without washing it -apparantly-.

Now, some say washing your car improves the aerodynamics a tiny bit. But personally I think that's just a load of b/s.

;)

I dont think it does anything but for when you get the nice cars like the Arta and Denso dirty they gotta be washed. Those are like the only cars I wash. It just shines them up real nice.......

Maybe you win 3 or 4 hp with a clean car, but i don't think that will make a difference.

3 or 4hp? Nope, don't think so.

^---- So we can be thoroughly amused by seeing a car spin in place at unruly speeds. :D

It improve the car, period.
Heck, its like real life. You take a bath/ shower, yes?
You wash your own car dont you?
How more realistic can you get when you add an oil change and car wash to the fold. ;)
I wash any car I race with and change the oil every time I get done with a particular car. Im just a clean fanatic and do the same on my own cars, just not so zealously. :D

I always wash cars and change oil after I do a series, but I tend to forget if I've just been mucking about in 'Run & Settings' or just done a one-off race.

I'll always change the oil just before a series with a car as well - I'm probably doing a lot of unnecessary oil changes, but hey, there's over 4 million credits in there...

In the show room before the wash it is not as shiny/reflective but after a small spend yes it reflects more..........thats all! - I think

Ya I noticed that too but I am going to try not washing my rally cars (they would be best for this experiment I think) and I will tell ya guys if it does get dirty or not. :)

oh, they get dirty.
i kinda wish they'd have mud splatter spots on them or something. of course, that's be too much for 1 dvd and PD to handle....

Hmm, when I was playing my old files, I had a Red Chameloen(spelling?) paint Tuscan. I drove around in the dirt a bit much, and the car turned black! Until I washed it...

YES i have the same exact car and color, and the paint went brown!!!!, then wen u wash it, its like BANG!!!! beautiful color on a beautiful car...

I haven't noticed any cars getting really dirty, but it does make them a bit more shiny. It can certainly make a difference to the colours on some TVR's.

No kidding. 50 Cr is chump change after you get a couple decent cars and start winning races. And besides, everyone knows that a clean car is luckier than a dirty car. ;)

I wash my cars every so often...

about the oil change:
change the oil when you first buy the car, and let it go till the light comes on, then change it again and you get more power than before. the light usually goes on at about 188 miles...

I always see the oil change light when I'm in the middle of a long series such as Gran Turismo All Stars (pro)
by the way chris...mad props on adding Half Baked to your sig...that movie has it all

A fellow smoker i see or at least i'm guessing... its not word for word... i copyed this from my icq info and the real lines were too long so i cut out some about the popcorn he wanted and stuff like that

Former fellow smoker, I used to have it word for word in my AIM info... I hate it when Comedy Central ruins that movie...they always bleep out the good stuff, and change ***** to pudding!!!!!
