Without Internet access there's going to be a lot of built up... tension. :dopey: Best try and find some girls, fast.

Won't be a problem, according to Wikipedia:

Wikipedia's Chester Uni. entry regarding the students
There are twice as many female students as male (partially due to the number of nursing, midwifery and teaching students).

Best of luck with your studies, Danny, and although I wouldn't like to see Danachronism become an anachronism, I know that you'll have alot less time for GTP in the coming months and years - university can be a challenging time of your life, but the rewards in terms of experience and independence are invaluable. Have an awesome time, something tells me you will ;)

Disaster averted! I was severly misinformed, and my room has internet access, albeit so slow it's a pain to use. Plus, my schedule is now going to cut back on any internetz time. But it's cool, 'cause I got really drunk last night and met some cool people.

Obviously, this university needs a "research" grant.

Take a few pics of the card-catalog system in the library for me, Danny.

Sounds like no internet to me. :p
So like, what cool people did you meet there? Care to share a couple of pictures of your campus Danny boy? :dopey:

I take it this night out wasnt in chester, because chesters night life isnt brilliant.

You make it sound as though Chester is still living in the Roman times when it was the Fortress Deva!

True, the city wall is still intact, but the reason Danny won't be coming here anymore probably has little to do with Chester's evolution as a technology center and more to do with the fact that he's going to spending his time exploring as many of the vast number of pubs within the confines of the city walls as possible!!!

Strongly recommend the 2 Samuel Smith's Pubs, Ye Olde Boot Inn, up on the rows, and The Falcon, down by the River Dee as possibly the cheapest and yet best beer in the city. 👍

Also the King Prawn Ceylon at the Step In India by the Grosvenor Roundabout is to die for. Almost literally!

I'm looking forward to a visit to Chester when I'm back over in Blighty at Christmas, maybe I'll see you there! 👍

I am curious as too you knowledge of chester, as is very close to me and my girlfriend lives there. Lived there before?

Bit late but er...

*Ahem*

NO DANNY, DON'T DO IT! YOU'LL END UP WITH DEBT, DEBT IS BAD!

Good luck bud.

Well, the whole section between Eastgate Clock and the Roman amphitheatre is now closed for some repairs.

Not bad going though! I'd be happy to be "closed for repairs" when I'm approaching 2000 years old.
Sadly I'm not likely to even make 1/20th of that without reaching an "unrepairable" state! :p
