Think I'm going to give this a shot again this weekend. I'm on a controller btw. I'll need lots of patience.....

23.466, need to upload my replay to youtube, but I can't work out how to import replays back into the game?

Great time there, I guess you made up most of time on launch, turn 1, and the left turn after second split time. It will be interesting to see how you did last section, can it be done flat through high speed chicane and then nailing the timing for next corner entry with maybe small lift and downchange?

Looking at manual (Link), it doesn't seem to mention ability to import. Maybe they made a big oversight there, hopefully you can get replay back in the game somehow either from help of a new update or there being a way to do it.

To import replays back to the game, just move the cursor over to the right in the gallery and you will see the 'Load File(s) Open List >' button which takes you to the XMB.

If your gallery is empty I'm not sure if you can move the cursor over, so you may have to do something on the quick for which you can save a replay to populate the gallery first.

My current time for Goodwood 5-3 is 30:091, I will try to better that at some point.

I don't think there was much time left out there, I nailed the launch, and the chicane with the wall on the outside I think was flat ;)
impressive

PS sry to banditkarter22 who is listed no1, but without a video I don't count it. this is the interweb afterall ;) upload a video and I may bow before a new alien
Right, I'll see what I can do about it, it would be a bit stupid to tell you an exact time if I didn't have a replay for it though!

My next target was to get under 23.5 so I might move my personal target to beat your time ;). However probably only try it sometime next year as I want to complete the game first and do seasonal events and maybe play a few other games. Do you remember the split times you were doing? Which wheel did you use and if G27, did you keep to standard 900 degrees of rotation? Looking forward to seeing your lap, see how much you maximised the car.

I have no idea of the split times, I didn't really pay attention to them, just looked at how far ahead of my ghost I was each time. I was using my G27, I wasn't aware you could change it from 900 degrees rotation!

Just, managed to import my replay, and I've just watched it :) I gained 3 tenths on you in the first sector, and I gained 4 tenths in sector 3. Your sector 2 was a tenth faster, and by deduction your sector 3 was also a tenth faster 👍

I personally kept track of split times and also distance to my slow ghost on the map, I found using ghost off putting and probably doesn't help frame rate. I also did it with 900 degrees, I was planning to try lowering rotation which is when I will really go for the limit on this event: (Link). I haven't tried that feature yet but I imagine it will work very well with this car.

I'm a bit confused when you say you gained 4 tenths in sector 3 but then say I was a tenth faster in that sector . Anyway shows potential is there to go closer to the lower 23s / breaking into the 22's, maybe degree of rotation change will allow more crazy speed to be carried into the corners.

Apologies, the final sentence was meant to say 'sector 4'
We can conclude that at least a 23.2 is possible 👍

I see, makes sense now. Will you try and experiment anymore on this event anytime soon? Can't believe PD messed up sector time viewing in replays compared to GT5, I was hoping they were going to improve it. Only can see to one decimal place unless I'm missing something. First sector is just launch, crazy how much time I lost there. I was thinking maybe only a tenth or so maybe it so I guess starting in 1st gear is way to go. I'm not surprised by your sector 3 time as I think I also have been about 4 tenths up on it, problem is when you go flat it makes the starting of last sector very hard to do.

I think I may have done sector 2 a tenth and a half faster before too with some time on table still so who knows, maybe under 23 is possible. After having done 23.905, my initial estimate was low 23's (Link)
