I'm glad they didn't waste a track on this. It's kind of like with the Top Gear test track - loved the show (God rest its soul) but the track was useless for racing. I don't need any tracks that are only useful for speed runs.

Ever since I saw the leak, I knew that it was most likely a false rumour, but at the same time I wondered if PD had exclusive licensing for the FOS or not.

Yeah, no thanks, it's super boring in GT6, plus the sculpture this year features a VGT car so that would be hard for T10 to license.

Love how everyone is solely hating this track for the use of racing on it as if that is the only thing Everyone does.

It's a wonderful Photomode location in GT6 - and arguably is more versatile as that than as an actual racing track - but I think the reason you're reading the comments that way is because people know there's only a set number of tracks to be announced in FM6, and Goodwood, from an overall perspective, would be a relatively narrow-focus one compared to just about any other track.

You just know that fanboys will say Forza is copying GT again, like they did with Top Gear right lol. It's an alright testing stretch but it's a pain in fast cars in GT6 honestly.

I could see where that concern would be reasonable, especially since I've seen some that appear already disappointed (including a few about a fictional track not even being the same as the original from an older game). It just had looked like people were saying that it was a horrible racing track when it isn't a track for multi-car racing and hence, I probably misinterpreted people's complaints as just ignorant hatred.

Tell you what though, this thread could use a name change because now that we know whats actually happening, we don't need more people to get the wrong idea (especially the sort that are too lazy to actually read and look around to confirm what is actually happening)

Hmmm, a hillclimb course mentioned for FM6, but it's not Goodwood. Interesting, I wonder what it could be.
