Went with image #2, as the first linked to an article about a fatal accident.
 
After some more Googleing I found this:-

Physiological recordings can be easily contaminated by noise and interference. In most cases, this is due to high contact impedance. It appears as 60 Hz. interference or erratic signals due to any motion of the lead wires. In virtually every case, these troublesome artifacts can be mitigated or completely eliminated by reducing electrode contact impedance with the skin. UFI's Checktrode(R) electrode testers were designed to help accomplish this important task.

I bet your more confused now, can anyone put this in English.:sly:

Actually, no it makes sense. From the little english in that paragraph it looks like it keeps wires from doing bad stuff. Is this like the police or somthing?
