Lol I had made it pretty clear that I'd be retiring for the remainder of the season....buuut I may or may not be back from work just in the nick of time to qualify and race Saturday night. Cool if I throw my hat in? I'd also like to forfeit my points and switch to the Lexus if possible. If not, then I'm fine with my Porsche. If I don't make it in time, then I will be 100% retired for the season haha.
Yeah no problem. I will put you down as tentative to Race Saturday. Regarding the car switch, I’ll let @TexasJDC chime in, as he knows how many are already assigned to that car.

Both the 2016 and 2017 have 1 or more spots open if you would like to switch I see no problem in that. Also if you make it after qualifying has started and before the race has started jump in you'll start in the back but hey you will atleast get to race!

I had already planned and confirmed to race and represent snail in this race coming up.
We have a few from ARL racing this series and if they could add the circle ARL DECAL on their car that would be awesome.

I would love to see the final Lmp2 spots filled up in this RACE with ARL RACERS.

Join us in the 2.4 hour of Le Mans.

Not as good, but still worth watching. We just don't have the rivalry we used to.

I agree a lot of it is about the drivers. These Earnhardt moments were actually pretty far in between. Most races back then were much more “boring” then they are nowadays. I like the old school nascar from a purist standpoint. It was a lot less exciting at most times but it wasn’t fabricated. What bothers me about nascar today is how fabricated it is to create constant excitement. True Motorsport fans shouldn’t have to suffer because people don’t have an attention span longer than the next retweet. Where nascar really messed up was they stayed in the 80s. Imagine how cool it would be if nascar looked like IMSA. Real stock car racing. The gen7 car that’s coming out is rumored to be something much closer to that.
