Well, last night was abysmal for me. I really like Brands Hatch too. Had a great starting position and felt comfortable with the car. The green flag goes down and I dont know what happened. Lap one didnt seem too bad, had
@PApunk924 and
@Jw_wk1010 breathing down my neck most of the lap. I just wanted to keep up with
@Neutty for a lap or two, but I felt the pressure too much from behind and on lap 2 in that final corner, I drove way too deep and slid off the track.
@PApunk924 was already to my inside and got by fairly easy, but
@Jw_wk1010 was prolly ruining his shorts, we came nose to nose and I was sure he was gonna smack me. But, his superior driving skill coupled with my cars continuing spin, kept him from hitting me, spinning out himself or losing a position. Hats off to you sir. Sorry for my blunder there. After that it just seemed to get worse. I over used the tires trying to make-up for my mistakes which just made it worse.
After I found myself alone I seemed to calm down and just finish the race. Wasnt too happy, but there's always next time.
Great race last night anyways.
