BREAKING NEWS:

VOODOO MOTORSPORTS FIRES CORNBREAD243!

After a dismal season and an even worse performance in the final race on schedule, Cornbread243, driver of the Famous 43 sponsored by Black Rifle Coffee Company, was fired on the spot. Team officials didn't even notify Driver 43 of the news themselves.

"Admittedly, the race didn't go as planned. We had a decent qualifying effort, but when the green flag fell, so did the car. Trappy got tappy on the first lap, we didn't think it was a big deal and thought the car was repaired, but a sway bar or some other part must have broken as the car was never the same lap to lap. No matter what we did. As always though, I stuck with it until the Checkers waved. I'd like to thank Black Rifle Coffee Company, BMW, the raceers and directors of the ARL for yet another great season."

"I was told to park the car by the hauler. I came to the press room to do our season finale brief and discuss our race, only to find there was no briefing for me. When I returned to the garage area, the truck was gone. I took some poor guys car and raced to the airport only to find the team jet already departed. I had to fly home coach! Guess it's a good thing I ain't popular like Tex."

After the race, disappointment was in plenty within Voodoo Motorsports. Tex was heard talking with teammate WaganGhost, "In a one dog race, that poor fool would come in last!" Wagan responded with the same criticism, "The moron didn't contribute a single point towards our team. Where did you find that no driving crash happy idiot?"

"He had sponsorship dollars" responded Tex. "Money talks."

Rumor has it that BMW is demanding a refund of all monies and parts given to Cornbread and his car. When asked about the strained relations, we couldn't get a response from any BMW executive.

Stay tuned for important announcements concerning Season 6 of the ARL Saturday Night Special, Cornbread243, and the famous 43.
It was nice being on a team with you. Gonna miss you too

You ever have one of those moments where you just want to thank everyone like you've just been given a Grammy? All for a 13 week season that did nothing but put me under pressure in a virtual environment where the only thing to be gained is experience. However, there's also comradery, dedication and respect. There's a lot of that around here.

BoD, you guys do an amazing job getting all this running the way you do. Please keep it up. @Nick Cannella, I don't have the words for you man, great job.

Congrats to everyone who competed this season, regardless of where you finished or what division you're in. This league would not be possible without you.

Special congrats to all our podium finishers. Any one of you guys could be on the top step next and I know it. @NASCARNATE91 you pushed me all season long man and you're the reason I couldn't even miss a damn race lol.

@Jw_wk1010 we're going to miss you around here bro. I wish it didn't have to be one or the other though, but I hope to see your around from time to time.

Cheers everyone!

By the way. Which was your favorite race this season? Mine was surprisingly Laguna Seca.

Mine was surprisingly the Gr1 Porsche at Monza.

I would say because if consistency and the fact I didn’t damage my car at all it’s gotta be brands for me lol

Congratulations @BGCaligula & @GTR4MROD on your championship wins in the Silver & Bronze Divisions. Nice job guys

Also congratulations to @NASCARNATE91 @fullness @GTP_Guido on your podium championship finishes.

Congratulations to my teammate's @Infineon & @TurboTacho on a great season and a hard fought 3rd place in team points.

I somehow finished 3rd in the Silver Division against some very strong competition I wasn't sure if I could hang on to that spot or not.
I had said that I was going to run a limited schedule but the competition drew me into running the entire season and I'm glad I did.
With summer fast approaching I will leave my cave and start spending most of my time outdoors with my kids. So I will not be running in the ARL Gr.3 Series thur the summer months.
I will still jump into some of the ARL races like I use to do before I went fulltime if you guys will still let me race with you. But I just can't commit myself to fulltime racing again until the winter months once approach us.

Guys I had a blast and I've learned so much from racing with everyone for the past two seasons and I will be looking forward to running fulltime once again soon so I hope everyone has a great next season in ARL.

My favorite race has to be my win at Big Willow. But Brands Hatch is probably one of my favorite tracks. And Spa in the rain was pretty exciting. There was a lot of fun races throughout the entire season.

I had a lot of fun with several races. I think my favorite was Big Willow. Had some good battles.
True. There were a lot of really enjoyable races this season. I actually struggled at Big Willow and had to watch JW leave me for dead. I chose Laguna Seca because I got stuck on the grid and had to start last upon lobby reset. Somehow worked my way through the field and had a chess match going on with @Rinsky throughout. Ended up winning and landed 2nd overall to Sam. That had to be my best drive of the season.

We do not speak of that race.

Feel like that was revenge to the team after I destroyed his race at spa lol

I would say for me, two highlights/favorite races this season. First one was the WildCard race, in the rain, at SPA. Managed to get a top 5 finish in that one...Pretty sure Lady Luck was riding shotgun during that race!
Second race was definitely Big Willow. I love the track, finished 6th, and even better, managed to get my first ever fast lap in Bronze division.
Outside of that, my season was pretty inconsistent, the last three races of the season were my worst.
Cant wait for season 6....
