Exclusive Press Release from Death Wish Coffee Racing Team:

1200px-Death_Wish_Coffee_Logo.svg.png

The retirement announcement from @Jw_wk1010 came as no surprise to the racing team, executives and drivers of Death Wish Coffee Racing. While his absence will leave a huge void in the team, we are currently working on restructuring for Season 6. When asked about his departure after 4 successful seasons with the team, @ Jw_wk1010 had this to say; “I just felt like it was time to move on to bigger and better things. I have no hard feelings and honestly enjoyed the time I spent with the race team. Except that nog3861 guy….no matter how much I coached and mentored, the old guy just never came to fruition….as a matter of fact, his racing seemed to deteriorate, just like his old mind and body….unlike @Mrs Neutty, who showed consistent improvement during her two years with the team”.

Speaking of @Mrs Neutty, as most of you may know, she is expecting and most likely will be moving to part time status. She has committed to remaining with the team, but on a part time basis (much like @Jw_wk1010 the last 2 seasons LMAOAS).

With that being said, Death Wish Coffee Racing is currently and actively seeking a full time driver for season 6. The only real “qualification” is that the driver show up week in, week out for the entire season. (10 / 12 races).

Anyone who may be interested can reply to this post and will certainly be considered. (Previous seasons race participation will be scrutinized).

Lol the exact quote was I wish the old man could manipulate that little blue pill to make his right leg longer so he could actually push the gas pedal. :) in all honesty though you and deathwish are a big part of me and will always be. You guys never know when a wee little man carrying around phone books might just be sneaking into a deathwish car near you. Also in other news I have spoken with deathwish rep (the real one) and they have actually agreed to sponsor the 75 dirt street stock. I have even received a welcome package from the team and look forward to working with them on a regular basis. Rowdy my paint guy is going to be quite busy in the shop eventhough he doesn't know it yet :)

Gonna go ahead and go with the huracan because real men dont drive beetles :p
and i quote @Neutty the beetle is a cheater car....beetle is trash....HERIMOPP IS WAY BETTER THAN ME LMAO
The "lady boy", "cheater car" has it's sponsors and paint. Coca-Cola jumped on board and we're happy to have them as long as that means free drinks, although we do wish Jack Daniels would join in with them, but it's probably for the best. I had the opportunity to get hyped up on caffeine & sugar and did a few laps for the press.

Dude, I am living proof that the Beetle is not a cheater car!!! Used it my first season....and well, we all have seen how well that's gone????

Just wondering if any of you run the FIA and Daily races at all considering you have a racing league.
I used to do both quite a bit. Not so much anymore...im sick of turdball racing...thats why i spend all my time racing with all these fine folks

I do but really after the past two races I’ve had in them it isn’t worth it way cleaner racing here in the league and we have eased penalty rules on

Yeah, I like the the idea of the FIA races but it can get pretty dirty at times especially in D lobbies for newbies like myself. I want to run the Supra Nürburgring but I feels that’s gonna become really bad very quickly...but i’m still practicing daily lol.

I try to do the daily’s once or twice a week as I understand if you choose one race Ur good at and stick with it You’ll raise your DR much easier.
Do the one you have the highest rank in (once youve spent AT LEAST a 1/2hr practicing it to get the best time possible (for now)). Imo your best bets for raising DR is B and C. C would be the easiest to do so if you have a top 10 time. Most in front will get a penalty, mess up a few corners or even go off track which allows you a free pass. C is the easiest to keep SR if you run clean which in turn bumps up DR quicker. B isnt too bad, but because its more of a short sprint people are more aggressive and you tend to lose SR by being hit even you arent totally blown off track and less time to advance positions which stunts DR growth. I used to run every daily possible then got sick of banging my head into a wall. So now i only do a daily if my time is top 100 in region. That almost assures top 5-10 starting place being a mid-high A.
Once i ran a cpl races here and got to know most i almost exclusively get my competitors fire doused here. Much more fun running with fast, clean and fun people than a lot of the chumps that run dailies and fia

Is the Mazda RX VGT approved for Season 6? Though it's not going to be here until late May in a game update.

If that's allowed, how would it affect the first three races provided if a full time commitment is taken.

Yes it will be available when it releases, the same rules apply to new cars as car changes meaning you will drop your points by switching. We have done this with the McLaren F1 & Aston Martin DB9 when they were released
