Normally I don't share the voice the chat but I figured why not. You can probably hear several peoples paddle shifters and my exhaust fan for smoking a cigar while I race.

It normally doesn't bother the people in the chat. That is why they are in the chat. Lol That majority of the chat tends to BS while racing. Some people smoke, some drink, some do both. I for one usually have a beer or whisky near by when I am there Saturday.

I could hear a lot of chatter and the annoying paddle shifting. Did that bother anybody? It's nice to see and compare the other lobby. Does anyone want to post lobby b?
Ive gotten in the habit recently of ‘muting’ my mic and the ‘chatter’ during the race (i find it distracting and I have enough problems during a race lol) and un-muting before and after the race itself to keep in touch with the group....

...and a few close calls in practice!! Lol. I'm working on it. I'm definitely faster than last season, but so is everyone else! The tolerances are getting tighter, and at a faster pace than I expected. I'll get it...hopefully sooner than later.

Something came up in Lobby A Saturday regarding entering the pits. If you pass the pit entrance you cannot reverse and then enter the pits. If you try and do this the game will reset you to the start/finish line and you will have to complete your lap again before you can enter the pits.

This happened to me at Laguna Seca (of course). I had wrecked at the turn before the pit entrance. I slid past the entrance and tried to reverse a bit to enter the pits. This reset me to the start/finish line and reset my lap.

Moral of the story, if you miss the pit entrance just make another lap and try again next time.

Before every race, I make a few pit stops just to practice my entry and exit...for safety and to maximize exit speed (as my entry speed entering turn one is not the same leaving the pits as it is coming down the main straight). I also practice launching from a standstill on the main straight. I know I'm not good enough to generally give advice, but thought maybe my learning methods might help someone.

Edit: Autopolis pits are a perfect example.
Edit 2: I also purposely damage my car at one point (if I haven't already) to practice a "limp home" lap.

I dont need more practice with ‘limp home’ laps. I do just fine already. :banghead:

Thanks anyway @scarecrow937

I do all of these as well during practice; it really helps.

I especially make sure to purposefully lose control and crash spectacularly into walls and have to limp the car back to the pits. *Checks to see if anyone is buying that whopper.*

Seriously though, I might actually start doing that.

I will admit that practing entering and exiting the pits is for sure something i do as well.

i just dont want practice driving a broken car! I get enough of that already wether i like it or not

How do you do that? I leave the party before race and then join back.
A Singer is the only one you should ever own.

Unfortunately, I was unable to enter the pits even on the next lap. I got reset to the start-finish line again. My race was already over by that point, so I decided to leave.

Also, I have been thinking of changing my car. I have nothing to lose, so why not make a fresh start? I initially though 911 as I have startedusing it in Dailies, but it's unavailable. I then thought of the M6 because it feels really good to drive, but I was told it spins a lot under power. Might have to stick with Lexus then.
Looks like the NSX is free. Might give that and the BMW a shot later today.

I just mute my mic and my Sony headphones i can adjust the relationship between race sounds and chat - so i turn them all the way towards race sounds....then i dont hear the chat and they don't hear me - end of race, reverse the process to Bring myself back in.

I at least got the results completed last night.

Congrats to our division winners:

@BGCaligula
@damonc84
@aedenmaddok

Please head to the Gr.3 Hub to see the results.

I will be updating the points as I figure out how to score some of the issues Lobby A had.

Thank you @PApunk924 for handling the results week to week, Just a heads up i'll be skipping this weeks event at Spa but will be back for the finale at DT Seaside. See ya'll in a couple of weeks.

You have to do 2 laps to regain access to the pits. One full lap to clear the error, then you can enter the pits at the end of the second lap.
This is something I tested after your incident.
