Glad the WRX made the highlights, terrible start and race pace. Practice, practice, practice.

I think my audio issue is a PS5 thing. I plug in the headset to the controller but the voice chat still comes through the controller speaker unless I switch all audio to the controller. That is workable, but then it keeps randomly cutting back and forth between audio sources and that is just way too distracting. I think they need to patch that in a PS5 controller update.

No worries, my fault primarily. The main problem was I should have planned a one stop strategy. I thought the math showed that the fresh RS would make it worthwhile to stop, but apparently I did the math wrong.

I lost like 2 seconds per laps in the final 3 laps of each stint but even then it saved a second 25 second stop

In practicing Kyoto with AI I keep getting aero damage. If I take damage that is flashing red I am not required to pit immediately, right? If I can stay out a couple of laps for fuel management, that is my choice? Or is it like a black flag?

First FIA podium yesterday, woo hoo. I was the second ranked dr in a low B lobby and most of my position gains were attrition, but whatever, I was happy.

You can run as long as you like with damage. Just a decision between slower laps vs pit time in and out - and of course how badly damaged you are.
