Hey does anyone know if the arcade/time trial is simulated with zero fuel on board? My times are a second faster there as compared to in a practice race or a lobby. I wonder if that is just mental or if I need to add fuel weight in that time trial mode.

Any practice you do outside of online play will be about 1 to 2 seconds faster lap times.

It's best to practice on a server. Just set up a quick 2 spot closed lobby if you want to run laps alone.

Just a heads up that for the next two weeks @CdnSweetTee and I will not be racing as we are too busy with the final stages of moving.

Well from a racing standpoint - that sucks. From a real life standpoint hope all goes well with moving to your new home!

Time trials are zero fuel and tires at maximum grip.

I like to use time trials to figure out the fastest racing line against my ghost and then use that info during an online practice lobby.

Well, tonight should be interesting... The backlighting on the right side of my gaming TV dropped out. Everyone else should wear an eye patch to even things out...LOL

My track, cars, and sky etc. all went black today after joining an FIA race lobby. Weirdest thing. I could still see chat and edit my car settings and see my speedometer, etc. I just could not see where I was going. Had to quit.
So half a screen isn't so bad!
 
Sorry for the unusual driving the first couple of laps. For some reason my car started out in bumper cam and I am still trying to learn all of the buttons on the new wheel, so when I tried to switch it on the straight and it went wrong I panicked a bit. Then when I tried to turn down the chat volume on my headset I missed the braking on the back straight. No texting and driving in that car.
 
Race was a disaster for me. I played like absolute garbage. I will not participate the next 2 just to get my head straight. Not a fun one, haaaaaaaaaaaated this combination and probably will skip this combo for the foreseeable future.
