If anyone is still looking for a car, the BMW Z4 GT3 isn't a bad option if the BoP plays alright into its favor. Just bought one the other night. It's alot of fun to drive. Almost like a go-kart if you're good at placing front-engined cars well in corners. I think it has one of the smaller, if not the smallest, of the Gr. 3 front-engined motors which is great when getting the car to rotate mid-corner.
Given the track selection for the schedule, I'd say it would really shine at Tsukuba and possibly Suzuka. It is at a disadvantage on higher-speed circuits like Le Mans and Fuji given its compact performance specifications (similar to the mid-engined Alfa 4C), but I think Polyphony has been adjusting the BoP algorithms to bring the true Gr. 3 cars closer with the McLaren F1 and Ford GT. This COULD mean well for the cars that now get little to no showtime.
I mean really..does the Z4 or the 458 even get used much anymore? I rarely see them in daily races and I would imagine they're driven mainly by brand loyalists?
