"He had long curly hair, a tube top, and high heels. A cross between Alice Cooper and a rattlesnake, he was either the most beautiful woman or the ugliest man I'd ever seen, with the sole exception of Tiny Tim."

Good book. I have it, too. 👍

My entry, on a somewhat related note:

"10 a.m.

Pete won't admit it, but he's got a habit too.

Noon

TO-DO LIST:

Buy guitar strings
Buy food
Call management back
Return decorator's call
Get more locks for the doors
Replace busted back window"
-From The Heroin Diaries, by Nikki Sixx

"His work plate and snorting tray of choice was a beautiful green and blue mexican tile, perfectly square and flat. I'd watch him cut up the coke and strain it, then take a brick of italian laxative called mannitol and strain it through the same strainer so it'd have the same consistency of the coke"

I win. Probably a ban as my reward.

Edit: Missed the 'page 32' thing, crap.

This is of course once you had moved past your huge collection of 'mens magazines'. I hope Golfman gets in on this, posting whatever is on Page 32 of this:

Closest book to me is the GT5 manual, which doesn't have 32 pages

Think he is dead. He hasn't signed in since like September.

Heeeeey wait a minute... I have the internet for that sort of stuff... :guilty:

"The first test was at Donington Park, a grey circuit in the Midlands. Its sequence of fast, flowing turns was made famous by Ayrton Senna's gutsy overtaking moves on the opening lap of the 1993 Grand Prix."

From "The Man in the White Suit" - Ben Collins' autobiography.
I would definitely recommend the book by the way 👍

Agreed, great read.

Or something to that effect was in my e-mail to GM when I asked them to meet me at a local Corvette Club of Michigan autocross with their new 2010 Corvette Grand Sport.

German Apex Guide of GT5. It really was the closest book, right next to my PC.

This is really weird.

Considering this is GT planet, a place for gamers and petrol heads. I happened to have a French phrase book next to me; opened it up to page 32 and it just happens to have the words for car parts listed.

No need to list the first two sentences because there isn't sentences, just words and translations.

Very odd.

This whole thread was made for you all along... this was the message your were looking for all this time, and now that you've read it, you know what to do with it.

You're the one.

The prone unsupported position (Figure 3-3) offers another stable firing platform for engaging targets. To assume this position, the sniper faces his target, spreads his feet a comfortable distance apart, and drops to his knees.

Pg. 33 of the "Sniping Field Manual" for U.S. Marine Corps. Pg. 32 only had pictures.

The only other 'book' I had next to me was a Pocket Ref Book and page 32 is AUTOMOTIVE: Tire Codes. Meh.

How come both of them have a different page 32?

A few months ago, I had the good fortune to fly into our California office from Wisconsin just as Editor-in-Cheif Matt DeLorenzo and R&T contributor John Lamn were off to visit Jay Leno at his workshop/museum in Burbank. "Want to go along?" they asked.

The reality of the Schoolboys' was somewhat different in 1970, just after number one crops and Doctor Martens had begun to appear on the terraces for the first time. The small, narrow section of the terrace was in effect a breeding ground for future hooligans, tough kids from Finsbury Park and Holloway either too small or too poor to watch from the North Bank, where their big brothers stood. - Fever Pitch, Nick Hornby.
