Can someone please post a review i want to read one so bad and see what all the japanize mags think of it..im so crazy about GT4 latley...im like having dreams of the damn game! lol :sick:

If you want I can type one up for you. Granted, it wouldn't be factual at all, since the game is not out yet. Just wait until next week. There will be plenty reviews to sift through. In the meantime, enjoy some snacks.

We must be only hours away from something, how can they have 10's of thousands of copies on the way to the shops right now and there be such silence!. Makes you wonder :)????????

Gtchampion, I had dreams about it last night after I ordered it yesterday

metzger please type one up for me 👍 👍

I can write one right now: :lol:

Graphics: 0
Sound: 0
Controls: 0
Fun Factor: 0
Bottom Line: 0%

The fourth edition in the Gran Turismo franchise has been greatly anticipated by all, and now pending its December 14 2004 release date, it has hit shelves all over the country, reaching record sales. Unfortunately, the author of this review finds the game rather lacking.
Graphics: The opening Playstation 2 animation really is stunning, and the Broswer window has some cool animations. Still, it's unclear what the hype is all about.
Sound: If you listen closely you can hear a very lively hum coming from the television speakers. This is somewhat less than the 90 music tracks as advertised.
Controls: Very easy to use game. Just pop in the "disk" and wait. Repeat as desired. Even better news: it seems that a racing wheel is superficial!
Fun Factor : This is where GT4 lets down a bit, due to complete lack of vehicles, tracks, and game modes except for the Real Waiting Simulator.

Synopsis: This is a rushed game PD should have spent more time developing.

Edit: GT4 may contain peanuts.
Edit: No animals were harmed in the making of this review.
Edit: Professional driver on closed course. Do not attempt.
Edit: Cars may be different from actual ones through shape, color, or performance. Remember: in real life always wear a seat belt, use your turn signals and be a safe driver.

"Gt4 obviously runs on an enhanced mario kart engine, and offered limit things to do. The graphics were brilliant...if this was 1994. The engine sounds were of the quality you would expect from a broken spectrum. If realism is your thing, get Outrun 2 for the ultimate in simulation, and wait for this clag to hit the 50p bin in your local Boyes store"

THIS IS A REAL REVIEW. I lost the link.

This may contain radioactive peanuts.
Drivers were possibly hurt. Were hurt. Died.

My lame attempt :D

MetzGames recently reviewed a full copy of Gran Turismo 4. By full copy, we mean a burned copy of the full version...but, setting legalities aside, our chief editor only had this to say:
"GT4: 210/100. Teh win." ;)

I hear Goon Magazine gave GT4 5 golden manbabies and had this to say:

"This game is serious business! GLUE GLUE GLUUUE GLUE!".

Never mind the game, this thread contains nuts.

This thread is just useless and bizarre. Some people are obviously being driven mad by the wait for this game... Sad, sad people, that stopped for me a long time ago...

"GT4 is better than minesweeper" -10/10 Stating the Obvious Magazine.

I'm sorry but I'll ask kindly....and only once....not to flame minesweeper. At the moment it's way more interactive than GT4, alright!! :D
Minesweeper..... the best game ever....it's got everything....girls, guns, cars.... :bowdown:

Don't forget that it also includes a 16-colors graphics engine and a revolutionary black and white arrow that points slightly to the left.

GT4=100% Awesome......................PERIOD!!!!!!!

And that's my final answer Reeg.

Yes it does. Shame Minesweeper=101% awesome.

Gt4 = Double layered DVD (9400MB)
Minesweeper = 144KB including help file (0.144MB)

So GT4 is approximately 70,000 times the size of minesweeper, yet less awesome.

You said it all :cheers:

One of my main dissapointments with Windows XP was that Minesweeper still hasn't changed at all from the Minesweeper I played on Windows 3.1 in the early 90's :scared:

I mean wheres the real time shadowing on the mines? wheres the particle explosion effects? wheres the reverse lights? :sly:

T5-R there are plenty more free variants of minesweeper available with flashy graphics, such as #1 free minesweeper, only a few megs to download....

I can't imagine Gt5 really because it probably wont be out in my lifetime if GT4 is anything to go by. but yeah a double layer bluray disc with 42,000megs of storage, think how many cars and tracks that could offer. Who knows, moaning n00bs may even get their reward of ferraris and lamborghinis!

Only time (and a heck of a lot of it) will tell...
For now, let's just keep our heads on for Gt4.

Not a lot because the disc will be filled with super duper hi-res textures and high quality audio. :D Gran Turismo 5 will look like you're watching a race on TV. :bowdown: :D

Don't know if its true but my fathers, dog's, cat said that GT5 is going retro, kinda like the original outrun, only with 2 million cars.. I can't wait!! :crazy:

I've started taking various perscribtion pills to fight back my depression caused by GT4 being delayed.. But the greatest medicine seems to be having recently bought the Driving Force pro
