yes exactly. Your logic is a bit weird. It's easier for you to believe what you've read, 16 cars, rather than what you've been seeing for the past year?
We have proof of 8 cars even though we've been promised 16. That's fact. It doesn't however mean that there won't be 16 cars.

Wow this looks incredible and you can just see how hard PD have worked getting the lighting right. The signs are clearly visble when the headlights hit them and everything. Thankyou to Sage for the upload and Owen.c93 for the post.👍

Honestly at this moment in time I feel turn10 and MS quaking in their boots.

we've seen demos with 10 and 12 cars as well though, so saying only 8 is pretty weird, 12 maybe but not 8.

Oh I agree, it's just that some of us where hoping that track might be p2p by the scale of it. Still, I'm sure PD are holding back so much we can't even comprehend the scale of things to come.

They forgot that all the video clips of Prologue had 8 cars max on screen, until that jaw dropping video showing a stream of racing traffic at Suzuka in fall of 2007. ;)

Wow… that’s five years of quality development in that trailer! The beauty of this game, and the feeling of driving a physical car, is going to be unequaled.

It think that it's pretty much confirmed. There will be only 8 cars on the track. But that's fine for me. We got damage, we got dynamic time of day and much more.

Still, the official site of the game shows 1-16 players, for some reason I don't think this measly 8 cars on the track means we're only definitely getting 8

For some reason I question why anyone ever compared GT5 and any Forza game, and why Forzas games only take 2 years

In the Top Gear track section, is it just me or do the cars move much quicker than they should be moving? The sliding cars gain grip too quickly and the cars taking the tyre wall turn look like they're gripping too much to me.

It looks stunning though.

Honestly it seems about right. High end cars would be going pretty fast around the follow through and it seems like the Gallardo gets a bit twitchy.

While on TG though, did anyone notice how perfect all the Top Gear camera angles were? I thought I was watching an episode and was looking forward to that fat bloke behind the wheel
 
Called Gamestop to see if they were taking pre-orders on the collector's edition. The clerk said he had no info about it, and that they were currently only pre-ordering the regular edition. I have to have that book! I could care less about everything else. Even if I have to resort to finding a pdf version (I really do not want to resort to this), I want to read that book in its entirety.
Has anyone successfully preordered this yet?
 
Just in case it was not noticed before... it seems like we will see some heavy deformation on the NASCAR cars.

Ha ha, I meant the other collectors edition stuff. My girlfriend already told me that she is okay with the fact that she won't be seeing me for a few days after I get it. 👍 Nothing is going to stop me from playing for multiple hours straight that day/night.

Only 4.5 months to go.
 
Honestly, it's just a matter of time to get a definitive demo, everybody will buy this game just because of the day/night transition and damage. Awesome job PD.
