Ive mentioned how great it would be to have the collaboration between the game and the show have Kaz himself as a guest on the track in the reasonably priced car.

Does that mean translator-san would have to come too?

Dear god no.

One question The "casting" has already been completed right? So the only way they can have gt5 is if PD gave them a copy when they went to the top gear test track ?

Only the challenges and road tests etc..

The actual studio time is recorded each week. They are always chatting about really recent stuff.

Also, nothing to stop Sony inviting the guys down for a private viewing/hands-on behind closed doors using pre-gold code.

Also if real GPS data times could then be incorporated into the game for players to race either against guests times or the cast and Stig...
All probably a dream...

All likely, and good ideas at that!👍

I was not refering to the news, celebrity lap etc. I was talking about the possiblity of "testing" gt5

Not gonna happen, it's got the Top Gear track, so it's gonna be biased if they "test" it.
They could feature it somehow but not too blatantly, probably a test between real-life and virtual like the NSX Laguna Seca test a few years back.
It's still the BBC, not sure if promoting a product ( which even features Top Gear somewhat ) is strictly allowed.

Since Kaz actually races would he be on the star in a reasonably priced car board or the other one?

SIARPC board. Kaz would be the same as Eric Bana, who races in the Australian GT3 series. He was placed on the regular lap board.

Edit: I mean GT series, not GT3. :)

They are not allowed to advertise a disc while they can advertise a book?

Well that book doesn't sell millions I guess and it was done over the top ( and it had a purpose, meaning the ability provided to drive the Enzo ) but you may have a point.

you're going to get more information from E3 than you'll ever get from Top Gear anyway. That and more useful information from E3 aswell.

Will anyone with access to G4TV and a DVR-type device be recording the Sony press conference? It's midterm time for me, so I won't be able to watch it live but I would really like to see the entire event.
If yes, would you be so kind to put it up on some sort of file-sharing site later?

My wish for the new E3 trailer is to see Spa in it. That'd blow my mind and make me super happy :D
Including DTM cars, hopefully.

I also hope for canada GP course and Istanbul Park in the full game
Plus Hockenheim for Formula 1.

(Top Gear) are not allowed to advertise a disc while they can advertise a book?
That's just what I was going to mention. ;)

While nothing is certain on this planet, it would be nice to see a sort of partnership with Top Gear and GT for a show or two.

Good point but I think the BBC can bend the rules slightly when the person flogging the book just happens to be lending Topgear a very rare million pound car :sly:

For the record though I'm pretty sure Topgear will cover the game as it's got the test track they use in it and they are getting exposure of their own show to the millions of GT5 players.

Gamespot's countdown says the conference will begin in 2 days and 2 hours.

Now in Los Angeles it's 10:00AM, so the conference will be at 12:00PM, in London 8:00PM, in Berlin Rome etc 9:00PM
