I think I can safely say I hate standard cars, I almost dont want to drive them or own them. When you have a lovely collection of premium machines its just going to get spoiled by a standard... its a shame.. I hope there are cheap premium cars to buy.
 
Anyone know what's up with the GT350 starting up in that video? Is that a button you push to hear the engine or something?
 
I hope that the cars have to be unlocked at certain levels , because it will make me want to play more. With the cars unlocked straight away kind of removed a little bit of the fun for me.

Anyone else think that the test shown in this video seemed very easy? The guy bumped several cars, crashed into a wall and cut corners, and still comfortably got a Silver and was only a few seconds off a Gold. There doesn't seem to be any of the "instant-fail" from previous tests.

Is there a difficulty setting that affects the licenses too (and not just races)?

Given that a video has been taken down, and there have been a couple posted in the last 20 mins, does this mean there's going to be a blowout before a mass censorship?
 
It's a bit strange to see race cars in the Used Dealership, but it's ok too :)

I guess that sound is played when you change your car. Nice detail, as well as the car's history displaying.

Did you guys notice that the text states that you can rebuild a worn out engine? Sounds pretty interesting. Same with the chassis.

Everyone wants to be first but they are too lazy or ignorant to go back in the threads and check if they are posted. These are the same kinds of people that post "first" around the internet. They aren't the sharpest of crayons.

Also noticed the cannot change wheels on standard cars thing. WHY!?!?!!? We could change them on GT4 why not now :grumpy:
 
I hope that doesn't extend to other upgrades such as aero etc. I wouldn't expect racing modification on standard models, but I'd love to be proved wrong.

I guess the GT4-style rear wing and maybe a front splitter is about all we're getting for the standard cars.

Yeah that would suck. Hoping they phrased the sentence wrong with regards to the wheels. Hopefully you can change the sizes in premiums but not in standards, but still be able to change the wheels or something like that. It would be rather stupid to not be able to change wheels when we could in previous versions.

As for the painting, it says you will need a paint item? Is this a unlockable paint colour or what? Anyone know? Did I miss something?

i'm feeling like you when i read this... maybe with an update... btw i wanna change the wheels on my future fiat panda on gt5 =(
 
I cannot believe Ferrari SP1 is in, and the price is quite realistic too :sick:

I cant remember getting a front splitter in GT4 but I can remember adding a rear wing to my cars.
