Gran Turismo 5 Full Game Footage/Images

ok, so there is a video of the races in a-spc. is there really only 9 championships for each one? this is the first disappointment i have seen. it makes the game seem really short to me :-/ i mean dont get me wrong i know its gonna take a while even for those 9, but i could have sworn gt4 had a TON of them.

I noticed that too, that would give us 45 events in the A-Spec races assuming each of the difficulties have 9 events each. There's a chance that there are more than 9 events in the higher difficulties. Bear in mind that we do have the special events too as well as the online mode and if I recall there was also mention of an event editor tool not that long ago, which if true will give us the possibility of creating our own events. With fewer events though we may see there turn of multiple prize cars for each event giving added incentive to do each event twice or more.
 
Just contacted the local official retailer of Sony asking them for the GT Collector's Edition and I was told that they have already received the GT copies. However, they can only sell them on the release date. I don't think that the release date is very far, definitely before Christmas!

true ture. i think im going to try and do everything i can before i even start a-spec. hopefully you are right there probably is more racing in the medium to higher classes of racing. it just does seem a little short. i think they should have made ALOT of events. im not counting on multiplayer yet because who knows how people will drive. i may only do races that are set up in here.

It seems that in Rome some Mediaworld store have already the copies... I'll go here tomorrow and ask some informations to the assistant :trouble:

i havnt seen that vid either. thank you for it. although people just keep showing us the SAME THING. i wanna see different dealerships. i wanna see more race cars :-/ im quite sure ALOT of them are hidden. its a shame im pretty sure my CLK GTR and toyota ONE wont be premium. but im still holding out till i see other wise. and im also still looking for confirmation of an r15 either the new one or old.

He said on the "latest news & general discussions" yesterday that he removed the videos due to a request made to him by Youtube, because of copyrights stuff :sick:

IIRC, you don't get to see all the championships or race events until you reach the end credits in GT3 and 4

I'm a bit slow here but I noticed the Special Event list has no entry for the Red Bull X1. Seeing as Vettel recorded stuff for this it looks like an appropriate place to be, so that might be a hidden 8th special event, or there might be other hidden events too.

Yes there was 9 in the beginner section and in the amateur section it doesn't Necessarily mean there will be 9 in the later sections.

But lets suppose there is for now. lets not forget each championship has quite a few different races. beginner looked to be 3, lets say ameture may avaerage 4 races per event. The next stage may be 5 races, then the next may average 7 races per championhship. Lets say the final stages are all 10 race championships

That would mean
3x9 = 27
4x9= 36
5x9= 45
7x9= 63
10x9= 90

That would make a total of:261 races. Disapointed?:dopey:

Also remember the races will increase in length. Im not sure where the endurance races are.

The special events and licences will also be played. Assuming each licence has 10 tests (which it could very well have more) that's 70 lincence tests on top of that.

Did each special event consist of 3 races each or was it 3x3? 3 different cars and 3 difficulty levels.

edit: Oh and im guessing B spec mode is going to be much more involving this time so who knows what's in there...

Thats plenty of racing i think you will find :)

Mercedes AMG event has 5 parts just for Beginner, and 4 difficulty levels.
That's probably more than most as it's just sections of the Nurburgring.

Edit: or you might be talking about the old games, not sure.

ALSO true lol. ya didnt even think of the more races / longer races. brain fart!! thank you for showing me the light. BRING ON THE GT5!

If there's one thing I would like to see in this section is another liscense test video. Any one will do. I'm having a theory that is burning a hole in my brain.
In the previous videos that have been posted we keep seeing the same blue BMW. Then in the first test, Deep Forest, the same car is used. Is it possible you can use your purchased car for the liscense tests?

Mind you this just a theroy of mine and the hole is getting larger.

Not to mention their may be extra hidden content. Someone mentioned an X1 challenge, that sounds quite feasible to me. Perhaps you would need a certain driver level, to complete all other special events, or all licences
