I call legit because of the insane amount of shopping going on during that weekend in the US. Some companies sink or swim depending on how well they do in that one weekend. It's crazy.

Thats what I was referring to. Not, I'm personally loosing my favourite game because the intro is bad.
with a little luck there will be a couple more intro vids ... i dont like the first minutes either... actually i didn´t like the music at the beginning... it sounds weird for me.. dont fit the video.
The intro was very reminiscent of Koyaanisqatsi (yes, that's really how it's spelt). Somewhat dark and depressing and definitely not up to the standard of the GT-4 intro. What music there was to this one was pretty terrible really. You'd think with all of the great tracks released over the last six years they could do better than some headbanger thrash band.

The part that i really don't like about the intro is the transition from making a car to on the road. It is done really abruptly and it just seems like they have thrown two video's together. Considering the time it has taken to make the game i would have expected more polish.
I hate to be so critical, but lets face it, this game is going to get picked to pieces and examined under a microscope by all, considering the time it has taken and the delays.
Actually why go for some modern crap music when we have classics like Highway Star with Deep Purple from '72 with lyrics that describes the whole Gran Turismo brand.

exactly my point. In 5 years of development time it should not have any bugs or flaws and a decent video. That was horrible their trailers looked better than that intro.
