You are setup to capture some killer footage/audio Alba.
My only request would be that you zoom the camera to only include the tv screen (not background information like people walking by)... similar to Gamersyde's footage.

Great news guys! I just tested my cable (although super short) I can record the sound from the tv to my netbook. The TVs at GamesCom are actually the same model as mine so I should be able to record the sound of the cars pretty easily and then I'll have to edit them in the videos afterwards but I think it's worth the trouble.

Let me know which cars I should focus on first so I can write that down as well

I really need to make a list of car+track so I can make a little schedule and we don't waste too much time on this. I got only 4hours (should be less in use I guess) of battery on my netbook and a 60mins MiniDV cassette for the Camera

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining !, But don't the Sony reps get a little worried when you go sticking cables into their TV's?

Can you view replays alba, or is it just gameplay?

I would like to see a replay of the DTM Lexus ISF concept at La Sarthe please If not, just gameplay from the cockpit.

BlimBlim from Gamesyde said that there is no replay in this build for some reason so I won't be able to do that if it's not in.

The versions of the car PD get are the Japanese version usually. Thus RHD.

Ok... and why the are not all RHD so?

Nothing to worry, there aren't (m)any reps at the GT5 pods on the ground floor.

I thought the pod with 3d had an pseye to use the headtracking?

The hardware was there, though I couldn't really tell if it was working.

Besides, there was very little 3D stuff on display in general - I thought we would be flooded with that. Move and Kinect were the main innovations they showed off. And gave everyone the wonderful opportunity too lose their dignity in front of a big audience

ok, but you need a great recorder software so you can see in real time if the sound output is in overboost to record

yes but you don't know if the output signal of TV @stand is too high!
try to record from your TV @ 80% or more volume

My current volume is half way through. I guess it'll be the same for this one and if not I'll just up the volume later via edit or something, either way I'll have no control over the volume of the tv except if I take my remote control with me (lol)

usually the TV @stand have volume locked to 70-85% (I say that because in some events I sponsorized sony's new games! And I think that record with more overboost is very bad (In past I was deejay)
