I couldn't agree more, I personally think they should go for a song much like what GT4 had, it was a Jazz/Classical(prestigous) music mizxed with a sort of rock style music. I really hope they keep with the music theme of Prologue. ALOT of people really like Prologue's music theme, don't change it PD the prestigous Jazz easy listening music is the best.;)👍

Those 3 genres you named are very broad on their own, ranging from jazz-soul type rap, to west coast to concious to new jack. There IS such a thing as classy hiphop, ever heard Electric Relaxation? Didnt think so.

Let us not forget GT3 soundtrack had a cheap a$$ corny snoop featuring which imo brough shame to GT and hip hop. Let's hope that dosnt repeat itself.

Aside from GT2 i dont see any song with lyrics making it to the Theme of GT5.

Not a suggestion but something on point from Talib using Tomita(japanese electro artist) samples.

 
nice, classy song to go with the feel of GT. Not necessarily my favourite song, but fits awesomely as an intro.


I also like Killinator's choice of Grounds for Divorce by Elbow, great song (and reminds me of Hakkinen on Top Gear ;))

I have to admit, i'm not a big fan of hip-hop, or any of it's related genres, but Tribe produced some great material.

i believe they are going to use another new version of moon over the castle, which i´m fine with, although i think it´s hard to top that version from gt4.
BUT:
i HOPE they are going to use craig armstrong´s "escape". probably it would be a perfect fit in the ending credits:

Fair enough, it would be a lot slower paced than previous intro's, but just imagine they started off with the slower cars, then gradually got faster until 3 minutes in... (the bbc f1 theme)

Le mans prototypes, veyrons, f1 cars etc...
