No way I'm staying up.
I woke up past Sunday for Mirko Filipović (Cro Cop) and never again.
 
Way i see it is we can stay up and find it hard to sleep on the information..

or can wake up to the whole thing in a nice list and have the day to spend hyperactive (hopefully) so i think my minds made up, slightly envious of those in America who have it at a reasonable time

Anyone know if the whole thing will be recorded so i could just basically watch a recording of it and get to experience the whole thing ?
 
1.30am is still not too bad, however when you have to be up the next day it's not exactly viable :'(

All that matters is the current local time in Tokyo - you can work out the rest from there quite logically. At the time of checking several sites, the local time in Tokyo was 18:00. The time on my laptop showed 10:00. This is +8, which sounds right, because "Spring forward, fall back" - we are currently one hour ahead of the standard +9 difference for Tokyo.

This means the conference starts at 02:30 in the UK, as confirmed on the front page, not 01:30.
 
UK is currently GMT +1 (BST). Tokyo is GMT +9. At the moment Tokyo is 8 hours ahead of UK - therefore 2:30am.

Yes and the continental europe has GMT+1h so 3:30
 
I had a think today, being as realistic as I could be, decided that if the following major advancements are to be in GT5, whenever it will be released, I'll buy it.

Here we go:

-Full damage on all cars
-Rollover on all cars
-All car models of the same quality*
-Tyre marks
-Aero upgrades: front splitters, front canards, rear diffusers and rear wings
-Ability to save multiplayer replays
-Ability to paint any car in any colour I want

*I'd rather all car models either of GT5P quality or just the premium cars to start with, and add the GT5P cars as DLC regularly as they reach premium quality.

As I post this it is 10:50 AM in the UK. At exactly the same time it is 7:50 PM in Tokyo according to my Ipod. That is a 9 hours difference. 10:30 AM in Tokyo is 1:30 AM in the UK.
 
I still see there is some confusion about the time zones.

All you need to know is the Sony presentation will start at 2.30am UK time, 3.30am Europe.

If you check GT planet homepage, Eurogamer link you will see they say the same. The simple reason is Tokyo is 8hrs ahead and the presentation starts 10.30am Tokyo time!

Do you mean you will only buy it of ALL of those are announced? If so, I think we have one less copy of GT5 being sold!

Dude, we are currently in BST which is GMT+1. The UK is therefore 8 hours behind Tokyo, meaning the conference is 2:30am. How many times do people need to state this?! Your iPod is incorrect.
 
That new Ferrari 458 Itallia vid,when it takes of in the pit lane dosen't show tire marks.Concerning.Or maybe it was just an easy take off.

Anyway,I'd be kinda dissapointed if there were no marks left from laying rubber as so many other games do it.
 
If tires are going to leave rubber on the pavement, then shouldn't that rubber do something, like increase traction there? If they're going to have tracks "rubber in" as you drive on them (along with building up klag off-line), then I'm all for it, but if not, then it just seems like pointless fluff.

I'd sure like some marble effect, would make endurance races more interesting.

I think this is how Kaz wants them to be, fully simulated, or not at all.

Well I hope you are wrong, I don't think those advancements are difficult to achieve for a game of GT5's caliber by a developer as experienced and established as PD. I'd have to actually see these features in the game though, not just a published feature list, fell for that before...
