why dont you just make a picture in paint, and put it there so it lasts 2 minutes (if your intro is 2 minutes long), if not, just make it stay the same length as your video and then use that converter.

anyway, here it is!

This is my latest one. this one has engine sounds that i recorded myself from gran turismo 5 prologue. Hope you enjoy.

yes the video does get a bit pixelated in places and there are some audio issues like volume but those are technical issues not of my making. this one actually took me 5 whole days to make. i dont think it turned out that good to be honest though. what do you think?

My problem is that I need to convert the files from MP4 to AVI so that they can be used in WMM (not the other way around). What file formats does Sony Vegas accept? Because as it stand I have more MP4 files than AVI and I would assume Vegas supports MP4????

Wow, that's amazing, one of the best so far! The only thing I would change though are the engine noises. I don't think that they do it any justice and infact make it lound a little bit more cheesy than anything, not to mention that some of them don't match what the cars are doing.

Not being harsh, just a bit of constructive criticism that you could perhaps use to improve it for your final version, I respect the amount of effort you put into that and like I said, other than the engine noises it's among the best of those I've seen so far.👍

thanks. thats exactly what i thought aswell, and i think, that could all be solved with higher quality recordings, which i cant make. i didnt even have all the right cars, i didnt have the brera for example. however, i will work on fine tuning everything and probably post the same ones, just with better engine noises, with the right proportion of volume aganist the background music, because in my opinion thts what let it down. some were too quiet, others were too loud.

the sounds effects made me laugh... the propeller plane sounds for the jets. The videos editing is good, but the sounds arent. Constructive criticism here, but the sounds are of cars accelerating all the time even when theyre crusing... try look for proper NASCAR sounds online or something. Nice choice of song though.

thats exactly what i thought once i finished it. i will find those nascar sounds and some proper rally sounds aswell. all my rallying was done with the sound of a subaru impreza and the nascar with, the evo10. the rest i thought i could make by actually doing those movements with the cars and getting the sounds out of the replays.

I don't have Vegas put I plan on getting whatever the newest version is.

well then it will support it.

Wow, there's some awesome vids in this thread!

Here's my sad little attempt. :dunce:

I've wanted to use this song in a video
for ages, the lyrics seemed fitting.

The bulk of mine is done. Just gotta finish the ending and do some polishing. Its so fast paced and I can't decide which clips work with the action. It has to build with the music. The song I chose culminates to a grand finale of sorts. If you liked Pino-R's then you will love mine. :)

V 1.0 of my trailer is 99% done but I am going to do multiple versions and maybe a commercial type video. As it stand now there are about 50 different cuts in my video and its 2:22 seconds long.

Watch in HD.

This is only v 1.0. I will continue to improve it as time goes on. Hope you enjoy it.

Could someone please explain how the hell you embed your video in HD (as race car has done). Thanks.

Wow... Stunning... that's the only word for it

I didn't think you could get much better than the ones we already had, but you proved me wrong there!👍

I am not going lie, I put a fair bit of thought into this one. The thing is I know it could be lot better. Some scenes are perfect (like when the Lotus Evora leads into the California. The camera angles work really well with the tempo of the music). But other parts like the ending could use some tweaking (some of the main beats do not fit with the action going on on screen). Although I have to say the beginning is my favorite part. Steve McQueen is the man.

Agreed there (Except I actually thought the ending was one of the best bits), I can't wait to see what the final version will be like!👍👍:dopey:

Excellent job paskowitz, you have my vote. I can a video like that being used for the GT5 intro. Very original and nice editing.

Also guys, I'm deleting the rule on the 2 minute minute, I've been trying to make another trailer but they all ran 2:30, and ive also noticed all the real GT intros are well over 2 minutes

SO NO RULE ON VIDEO LENGTH

Well I did not even know there was a rule so... whatever.

If I may also suggest trailers (2-5[+] min) and commercials (60, 30 or 15 sec) are all different forms of videos and all have different purposes. I would suggest having a separate competition for each type. Mine is more of a trailer but the one with we will rock you is more of a commercial. It really does not matter but I am just sayin.

EDIT: Can't embed in HD :(

Try putting "HD" in the youtube tags (after "youtube") and you should be able to get this:

Very nice. I like the Batman music. "The Chase" is decent song for a GT trailer. As is "Aggressive Expansion". Maybe you should try those.

it is actually Aggressive Expansion I used here ;)

ahh, that's how you do it. i tried with all kinds of codes and google searches.
