Welcome!

In this thread; we are going to complete "Licence Tests" in Gran Turismo 6.
To mention that, still, the division of the licence tests is the same
as what we are familiar with, which are mentioned as follows :

National B Licence
National A Licence
International B Licence
International A Licence
Super Licence

And each group has 5 tests in particular; despite the less of tests
provided comparing to "Gran Turismo 5"; but still it has the major
characteristics of driving experience.

However; these are videos showing us on how to clear these tests with
perfect timing (Gold Trophy) and with the easiest strategies to pass.
In addition to in-game helping information of every test.
Also, by making it more easier to follow; In the "Driving Assistance"
I have used basic settings (Original) with no changes at all.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Comment of Licence Mode in Gran Turismo 6

There is a comment that I really want to discuss about, is that Gran Turismo 6
have moved steps forward, more and more over on what considers realistic driving.

Therefore, I recommend that to turn-off traction in order to increase your driving
experience. It is a fact that GT6 has become realistic than GT5. And it is a chance
for us to know and study how really is traction technique works is in real life. You might
have big chance to notice the different with/without turning traction off in the game.

Moreover, what considers the adjustment "Driving Assistance" is really important sometimes.
Although I drive by turning them off; but the fact is to be told, that nearly most of GT
armature players all over the world are not familiar to drive on changing the adjustment.

So, what I am doing is that to drive using basic sittings to allow them to follow the strategy;
(That what I used to do in all of my Licence & Special Events in Gran Turismo 5).
But here in Gran Turismo 6, I have no availability to use that again (sometimes), especially
in some courses and challenges that are immediate required to turning the traction off.
So, I try harder to find the easiest strategy (either in both basic or adjusted settings)

In contrast, each video here in Licence Mode does not have any changes at all !
( Traction TRC = 5 / ABS = 1 / Racing Line = ON ) default settings.

But if you looking for achieving perfect time in order to compete on global position;
I would recommend you to turn off TRC. Enjoy! :gtplanet:

B-1 RECORD TIME = 0:32:437
It's time to practice your accelerator and brake control. From a standing start,
put the pedal to the floor and accelerate up to speed, then bring the car to
complete halt in the stopping area 1,000 meters ahead. Hitting and of the cones
or leaving the stopping area will result in disqualification.

1472833_546782842076692_416980240_n.jpg

B-2 RECORD TIME = 0:20:111

Now for some steering practice. First off, try this simple, evenly-angled corner.
Head for the finish line, and try not to leave the track. Note that you will be
deemed to have left the track if all four of your car's wheels are off-road the
same time.

B-3 RECORD TIME = 0:15:528
This is your chance to try taking a corner at speed. It may seem fairly gentle
curve at first, but the speed of entry on this type of corner makes it easy to go
off-track. You'll need to take care not to go too fast if you want to reach finish line.

1468540_546782902076686_480592018_n.jpg

B-4 RECORD TIME = 0:14:917
This time, you'll be practicing how to traverse two consecutive corners running
on opposite directions. Otherwise known as an "S-Bend". This is a critical test
of your ability to control your speed with careful use of the accelerator and
brakes. Try to make it to the finish line without leaving the track.[/QUOTE]

1465169_546782905410019_1725789157_n.jpg

B-5 RECORD TIME = 0:19:329

It's time to get some experience on track set in an urban environment.
The biggest difference between these circuits and regular racetracks
is abundance of low-visibility and completely blind corners. Make your
way to the finish line, and avoid colliding with the barriers.

1459723_546889365399373_868325981_n.jpg

A-1 RECORD TIME = 0:17:706
In this test, you will be practicing deceleration from high
speed into tight corner. Sections like this, where major
changes in speed occur, provide perfect passing spots
during races. Try to make it to the goal as quickly as
possible by learning the exact point at which you need
to start braking.

1463322_546889462066030_1779922748_n.jpg

A-2 RECORD TIME = 0:13:675
Try taking on a corner where the incline makes it difficult
to see the truck ahead. Be careful not to brake too late on
your way to finish line.

1454683_546889378732705_1968696812_n.jpg

A-3 RECORD TIME = 0:16:353
Try your hand at this set of consecutive corners of differing
size. Make it to the goal as quickly as possible by carefully
controlling your speed.

1466129_546889375399372_1979740368_n.jpg

A-4 RECORD TIME = 0:16:616
Here, you'll be practicing driving through multiple corners
turning in the same direction. This set consists of a difficult
tight bend, followed by a shallower, more forgiving curve.
As ever, get to the finish line in the best time possible.

1466253_546889545399355_935485733_n.jpg

A-5 RECORD TIME = 0:30:296
Try your hand at spot of night driving. There are streetlights
to help you, but you'll mainly be using your headlights for
illumination. Make your way carefully to the finish line, taking
care not to go off-course in the dark

iB-1 RECORD TIME = 0:18:280

Thread your way between the cones and make your way
to the finish line to complete this challenge. Touch a cone
and you'll be instantly disqualified.

iB-2 RECORD TIME = 0:17:232

A Chicane is a corner system designed to cause drivers to drop
their speed. In this test, you'll be traversing a chicane that allows
you to maintain a relatively high speed throughout. Race for the
finish line, but try not to leave the track.

600892_548200908601552_1764342890_n.jpg

iB-3 RECORD TIME = 0:17:926

It is time for an even trickier set of consecutive corners. It goes
without saying that finding the correct line is critical, and careful
speed control will also play an important part. It's very easy to go
off-track here, so try to make your way to the finish line without
overdoing the acceleration.

971573_548200811934895_1075319495_n.jpg

iB-4 RECORD TIME = 0:27:936

Have a go at this high-speed section of the Brands Hatch circuit,
featuring consecutive challenging corners. Make it to the finish line
without leaving the track.

iB-3 RECORD TIME = 0:30:556

A Dirt track presents an entirely new set of challenges from
a tarmac course. The driving surface is comprise of grit. Sand
and earth, making it very slippery and easy to lose control of
the car. Making it to the finish line quickly will require exceptional
car-control ability.

This is your chance to take on an even tougher cone slalom challenge.
Get to the finish line as fast as you can without making contact with
any of the cones.

1469767_549113715176938_67736433_n.jpg

iA-2 RECORD TIME = 0:22:446
Try out this tricky section, which will require you to decelerate
from high speed into the approach to chicane. In order to turn
in sufficiently while decelerating, you'll need to brake while
turning. Make it to the finish line without leaving the confines
of the track.

1466236_549113718510271_1192200385_n.jpg

iA-3 RECORD TIME = 0:21:737
Test your skills on a challenging section that features as steep
incline and narrow track width. Reach the finish line in the quickest
possible time, being careful not to collide with rock faces or barriers.

1458573_549113931843583_1710294808_n.jpg

iA-4 RECORD TIME = 0:37:757
Experience the thrills and spills of driving on a rain-slick road.
Make your way to the finish line, taking care not to lose control
or leave the track.

1463882_549113708510272_328216375_n.jpg

iA-5 RECORD TIME = 0:29:144
Take on an even more technically challenging section of wet track.
The car this time is a powerful rear-wheel drive, so you'll need to be
meticulously careful and in control.

All Licence tests are done above, they are divided into 5 videos, HD 720p,
each video carries 5 tests, each test earned Gold Trophy + Perfect time :

Gran Turismo 6 - Licence - National B Licence (GOLD)
Gran Turismo 6 - Licence - National A Licence (GOLD)
Gran Turismo 6 - Licence - International B Licence (GOLD)
Gran Turismo 6 - Licence - International A Licence (GOLD)
Gran Turismo 6 - Licence - Super Licence (GOLD)

However, after completing them all, I would like to share my opinion below
about these astonishing tests. Thank you for your interest in reading it.

It really helpful for your experience, excellent in choosing the most major corners and tracks,
terrific in providing details listed before starting the test, and fantastic in its goals for you.
Therefore, licence tests are easy all the way through National B up to International A,
they are testing your most major characteristic of driving experience in both of the tracks, and
cars which could have different drivertrain, such as FR, FF, MR, and 4WD either in road or dirt.

But the result will reflect in S Licence. It is difficult, noisy, and challenging in its tests, but it
is the conclusion of all the experiences you have gained over your progression previously.
Remember, that there are too many ways to clear Super Licence perfectly and without having
any kind of problems. Firstly, is that to drive as many cars as possible all the way through career
mode, such as completing career races, Mission Races, and One-Make challenges.
Secondly, is to know how different is the vehicles are, they are not the same when driving in tracks,
some of them has the ability to overtake fake corners easily which are these vehicles having heavy
weights like the (Lamborghini Avendator - Super Licence S-4). On the other hand, there are that
kind of vehicles in which they gain acceleration very quickly in corners, but are not stabled and are
at risk to loose control, like the (Lotus Elise - National A Licence A-2).

In conclusion, while clearing the licence test, we should consider mostly three important methods,
which are acceleration, light-medium braking, and steady. If you keep on loosing acceleration, brake
hardly in every corner, and not keep the car steady, then you will not be able to achieve perfect time
in order to clear the tests. Therefore, my driving skills in these videos are not the only way to achieve
perfect timing, you might focus on your driving experience, and follow the rules of the track
which are the main ways to achieve perfect time and gold trophy.

thanks for these, was looking on youtube for some vids of the last 2 S license tests as these were the ONLY ones i had trouble golding but couldn't find any. the others were just ridiculously easy this time around.

would have been nice to have seen replay in cockpit or front view though, not sure how many people play with overhead cam?

Great! I Hope that these strategies would help you on knowing
what are the ways required to follow in both of S-4 & S-5.

There is other videos here in Video section in this forum. Please,
have a look onto it; they are really professional drivers, as @Twissy

Twissy plays GT6: Ford Falcon V8 Super @ Bathurst - (Super Licences Completed!)

Good luck !

thanks mate, they do help a fair bit, however i use no TC and no ABS so maybe i might even do a vid of my own if i ever gold lol
also, @Twissy is just an alien :P

Yes, that is much much better, without traction will
achieve you more advantages then set them on.

You are more than welcome mate, good luck though 👍

I barely got the bronze lol I figured out that you CANNOT brake while turning the veyron, it just wont work :) once I figured that out and slowed down my lap times went up.

Exactly, Veryon requires to brake before the turn and then take it with low acceleration.
Try harder, replay back if possible. Thanks

And remember, in the very starting you should do the correct start ( handling ). Check on how I do it;
It is important. Because if you handle fully acceleration you would loose 2 second in general.

Any tips for s-1 the toyota just doesnt move
its so hard and frustrating
I've got gold on s2 and s3 and close to the aventador
not done the veyron yet but any way to make s1 easier the best i got was .4 off
average im a second off

Great! Okay well all aids are off?

yes all off even asm

Okay. So with these you be able to take on S-1 easily. Here are my tips:

ApricotHilla.jpg

*) Remember ApricotHill almost have 70% fake corners. Go through
them with not loosing much acceleration. Which are as follows:

Corners number 1&2 ) Go through 1 keeping accelerate, all the way to
corner number 2 braking easily -without loosing acceleration- you may
brake double brakes, or, you may give it one hard brake while turning for 0.5 second.

Corners Number 3&4&5 ) Are 100% fake corners. Try to take them without
braking more than 0.50 second each -no braking in corner number 4-

Corner 6 ) It easy corner. You may decrease accelerating twice for almost
1 second. Or double braking by 0.5 seconds, 0.25 seconds each .

Corner 7 ) Braking for 1.5 seconds is enough; accelerate back quickly.

Corners 8&9 ) Are just easy turns; keep accelerate.

Corner 10 ) Keep on the right side of the road as much as possible in order to
take the corner with keeping as much as acceleration you may maintain. Therefore,
Keep attention to brake for 1 second only; double braking 0.5 for each, then accelerate
back quickly in order to go for your next corner.

Corner 11 ) Is the hardest and most fake corner in this track. However, go through
both turns in high speed, keep attention not to go off the track or touching the cones.
Moreover, maintain to go through this double turns by decreasing in both of accelerate
and brakes. Then if you see that the 89 is stable, accelerate more to go reach your
final corner in this track.

Corner 12&13 ) Are easy and there is no any need to brake at all; keep accelerate
to the finish line.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope that these tips would help you; please, let me know your
progression, then I shall go to the next test. Thank you for reading !

I followed a modified line from your youtube video and braked at turn 3 which I would normally lift off then go flat out.
My main problems are getting the perfect line for corner 6 and the braking point for 7 and the line for the chicane since i can only manage the chicane in 2nd gear.
I am now consistently .4 - .6 seconds off the pace down from tthe 1 second
Thanks

Good! Try harder through, let me know how you do so far. Good luck.

I am officially the best worst gt6 driver.
I golded the veyron in 3 tries and the aventador just now
but I still cannot get gold on the first one. In fact I found the S1 harder than S4.

Is there any specific breaking point I seem to be slow there and the last chicane.
Thanks to your video my first sector is perfect.

How come when someone achieve most of the hardest challenges
in Mission Races, then call himself the worst in GT6? No you are not.

You are one of the best @isasda66 👍

First Mission is like the others, the point of it challenge is how to steer a FR
vehicle through tough-easy-fake corners without braking much as fast as possible.
So, remember please that braking is not the only way to go through any corner,
especially for the FR drivertrain still you have other choices like decreasing acceleration.
Therefore, We could say that the percentage of brakes in one lap is almost 2%.

Which will it be as follows :

{A} 0.7 seconds are divided for (1st = 0.5 seconds or less ) & (2nd/3rd/4th corners = 0.3 seconds or less )
{B} 1.0 second are divided for (6th = 0.2 seconds ) & (7th = 1.0 seconds or less )
{C} 1.0 seconds are divided for ( 10th = 0.5 seconds ) & ( 11th = 0.5 seconds )

Again, remember that to use the decrease acceleration method.
It is helpful for FR vehicles always.

Good News!!!!
I finally got gold.
It seems so easy now it was all about learning the track and that last chicane in not scrubbing off speed.
Thanks a lot @FaisalBnNasser!!!! Followed your videos a lot and studied and modified the ending.
Managed to beat it by .3 of a second.
You're the best. Helped me a lot.
Thanks

Surprising, astonishing, and masterpiece work dear @isasda66
No dearest, I have done nothing, it was all you who tries, and
the only one who achieved the perfect timing ! Good Luck !
It was really honorable being you here ! Delighted.

I saw your video again and saw the braking point references and also the advice you gave of letting the car decelerate on it own and not use the brakes helped quite a bit.
Thanks a lot.

A big Huge MASSIVE thankyou, after watching your video for Super license, S-5 in particular, I took a different approach to a few corners. My best time jumped from just outside silver to 2.12.229 on my first complete lap. I smashed that gold. Thanks again!

You are more than welcome ! I Am happy for you !

Yes, the vehicle in S-5 course is enjoying by it ultimate accelerating,
but difficult to steer, especially in either fake or hard corners.

Good luck! And thanks for your comment

WHAT!!!! Last night I was toiling over just trying to Bronze S5. Tonight, I return to this nemesis of a race track only to find it going from the middle of the day (last night) to DUSK tonight!!!!

I HATE THIS TRACK!!!!!
