Welcome!
In this thread; we are going to complete "Licence Tests" in Gran Turismo 6.
To mention that, still, the division of the licence tests is the same
as what we are familiar with, which are mentioned as follows :
National B Licence
National A Licence
International B Licence
International A Licence
Super Licence
And each group has 5 tests in particular; despite the less of tests
provided comparing to "Gran Turismo 5"; but still it has the major
characteristics of driving experience.
However; these are videos showing us on how to clear these tests with
perfect timing (Gold Trophy) and with the easiest strategies to pass.
In addition to in-game helping information of every test.
Also, by making it more easier to follow; In the "Driving Assistance"
I have used basic settings (Original) with no changes at all.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Comment of Licence Mode in Gran Turismo 6
There is a comment that I really want to discuss about, is that Gran Turismo 6
have moved steps forward, more and more over on what considers realistic driving.
Therefore, I recommend that to turn-off traction in order to increase your driving
experience. It is a fact that GT6 has become realistic than GT5. And it is a chance
for us to know and study how really is traction technique works is in real life. You might
have big chance to notice the different with/without turning traction off in the game.
Moreover, what considers the adjustment "Driving Assistance" is really important sometimes.
Although I drive by turning them off; but the fact is to be told, that nearly most of GT
armature players all over the world are not familiar to drive on changing the adjustment.
So, what I am doing is that to drive using basic sittings to allow them to follow the strategy;
(That what I used to do in all of my Licence & Special Events in Gran Turismo 5).
But here in Gran Turismo 6, I have no availability to use that again (sometimes), especially
in some courses and challenges that are immediate required to turning the traction off.
So, I try harder to find the easiest strategy (either in both basic or adjusted settings)
In contrast, each video here in Licence Mode does not have any changes at all !
( Traction TRC = 5 / ABS = 1 / Racing Line = ON ) default settings.
But if you looking for achieving perfect time in order to compete on global position;
I would recommend you to turn off TRC. Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B-1 RECORD TIME = 0:32:437
It's time to practice your accelerator and brake control. From a standing start,
put the pedal to the floor and accelerate up to speed, then bring the car to
complete halt in the stopping area 1,000 meters ahead. Hitting and of the cones
or leaving the stopping area will result in disqualification.
B-2 RECORD TIME = 0:20:111
Now for some steering practice. First off, try this simple, evenly-angled corner.
Head for the finish line, and try not to leave the track. Note that you will be
deemed to have left the track if all four of your car's wheels are off-road the
same time.
B-3 RECORD TIME = 0:15:528
This is your chance to try taking a corner at speed. It may seem fairly gentle
curve at first, but the speed of entry on this type of corner makes it easy to go
off-track. You'll need to take care not to go too fast if you want to reach finish line.
B-4 RECORD TIME = 0:14:917
This time, you'll be practicing how to traverse two consecutive corners running
on opposite directions. Otherwise known as an "S-Bend". This is a critical test
of your ability to control your speed with careful use of the accelerator and
brakes. Try to make it to the finish line without leaving the track.[/QUOTE]
B-5 RECORD TIME = 0:19:329
It's time to get some experience on track set in an urban environment.
The biggest difference between these circuits and regular racetracks
is abundance of low-visibility and completely blind corners. Make your
way to the finish line, and avoid colliding with the barriers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-1 RECORD TIME = 0:17:706
In this test, you will be practicing deceleration from high
speed into tight corner. Sections like this, where major
changes in speed occur, provide perfect passing spots
during races. Try to make it to the goal as quickly as
possible by learning the exact point at which you need
to start braking.
A-2 RECORD TIME = 0:13:675
Try taking on a corner where the incline makes it difficult
to see the truck ahead. Be careful not to brake too late on
your way to finish line.
A-3 RECORD TIME = 0:16:353
Try your hand at this set of consecutive corners of differing
size. Make it to the goal as quickly as possible by carefully
controlling your speed.
A-4 RECORD TIME = 0:16:616
Here, you'll be practicing driving through multiple corners
turning in the same direction. This set consists of a difficult
tight bend, followed by a shallower, more forgiving curve.
As ever, get to the finish line in the best time possible.
A-5 RECORD TIME = 0:30:296
Try your hand at spot of night driving. There are streetlights
to help you, but you'll mainly be using your headlights for
illumination. Make your way carefully to the finish line, taking
care not to go off-course in the dark
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iB-1 RECORD TIME = 0:18:280
Thread your way between the cones and make your way
to the finish line to complete this challenge. Touch a cone
and you'll be instantly disqualified.
iB-2 RECORD TIME = 0:17:232
A Chicane is a corner system designed to cause drivers to drop
their speed. In this test, you'll be traversing a chicane that allows
you to maintain a relatively high speed throughout. Race for the
finish line, but try not to leave the track.
iB-3 RECORD TIME = 0:17:926
It is time for an even trickier set of consecutive corners. It goes
without saying that finding the correct line is critical, and careful
speed control will also play an important part. It's very easy to go
off-track here, so try to make your way to the finish line without
overdoing the acceleration.
iB-4 RECORD TIME = 0:27:936
Have a go at this high-speed section of the Brands Hatch circuit,
featuring consecutive challenging corners. Make it to the finish line
without leaving the track.
iB-3 RECORD TIME = 0:30:556
A Dirt track presents an entirely new set of challenges from
a tarmac course. The driving surface is comprise of grit. Sand
and earth, making it very slippery and easy to lose control of
the car. Making it to the finish line quickly will require exceptional
car-control ability.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iA-1 RECORD TIME = 0:17:792
This is your chance to take on an even tougher cone slalom challenge.
Get to the finish line as fast as you can without making contact with
any of the cones.
iA-2 RECORD TIME = 0:22:446
Try out this tricky section, which will require you to decelerate
from high speed into the approach to chicane. In order to turn
in sufficiently while decelerating, you'll need to brake while
turning. Make it to the finish line without leaving the confines
of the track.
iA-3 RECORD TIME = 0:21:737
Test your skills on a challenging section that features as steep
incline and narrow track width. Reach the finish line in the quickest
possible time, being careful not to collide with rock faces or barriers.
iA-4 RECORD TIME = 0:37:757
Experience the thrills and spills of driving on a rain-slick road.
Make your way to the finish line, taking care not to lose control
or leave the track.
iA-5 RECORD TIME = 0:29:144
Take on an even more technically challenging section of wet track.
The car this time is a powerful rear-wheel drive, so you'll need to be
meticulously careful and in control.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
S-1 RECORD TIME = 1:47:948
Raise to the challenge of this single-lap time trial, and do your best
to beat the clock!
S-2 RECORD TIME = 1:27:166
Raise to the challenge of this single-lap time trial, and do your best
to beat the clock!
S-3 RECORD TIME = 0:55:764
Raise to the challenge of this single-lap time trial, and do your best
to beat the clock!
S-4 RECORD TIME = 1:34:287
Raise to the challenge of this single-lap time trial, and do your best
to beat the clock!
S-5 RECORD TIME = 2:13:883
Raise to the challenge of this single-lap time trial, and do your best
to beat the clock!
