If by "lack of participation" you meant lack of lobbys , then I cannot agree there is "lack of participation" .

PS: my experience is that whatever mode I'm searching (real,fun,free...) I'm getting mostly 4 full pages of lobbys (that's maximum search engine can find ) ,so that's plenty of games to join. Whether they suits me or not , it is different thing.

I have noticed a drop off in the last couple of weeks. I run a room every night, and for the longest time it would fill up no matter what night of the week it was.

It did fill up last night and tonight, but lately I have noticed that week nights have been a lot slower.

Maybe it has something to do with school being out.

Online has been getting very quiet (it's almost cue the tumble weed. It's that quiet), it takes me about 20 - 30 minutes to find a lobby.

I do get bored with searching and do some offline races or CR grinding or play GT4 or do something else.

There's been a slow and steady decline in online since the game launched and it's never reached the heights of GT5, as you would expect with far fewer sales. Most lobbys are either drag, drift, cruise, free run, or racing on RS tires, none of which hold any interest for me. I've tried many times to run my own lobbies, usually 450-500PP on SH or SM tires and you get very few lookers and few that actually stay.

My racing friends & I haven't been online in quite some time. Without certain missing features in GT6 (track creator & community), there's been no attraction for us to be online. Our last session was a last gasp GT5 farewell night. I hope PD gives us those features soon or my online racing days are done.
