Funny how I first heard this song not long before you posted this. And I must fully agree with you on that.

I remember SebastiAn's Dolami from GT5P. He also had Momy from MC:LA, I loved both tracks. I wish Army would get into GT6, but I'm not sure if they'll put in more recent stuff instead.

For me though...maybe some Bloc Party? Octopus would be my favourite to get in IMO.

Surprisingly, Motor of SebastiAn didn't fit at all with : too hardcore, especially with this sound saturation like all SebastiAn stuff, my guests didn't appreciate it.

For music during replays, I never find convincting tracks apart Stylo by Gorillaz and classic dubstep.

The only soundtrack I'll hopefully be listening to are vastly improved exhaust sounds.
 
My only wish is that if you can use your own custom music, ALL of the stock music is turned off. GT5's song Pnau - Baby would ALWAY play going into lobbies, regardless of what I did.

A strange thing I kind of wonder about GT6's soundtrack will be with the soft and jazzy music that may be in the game. A long time ago here on GTPlanet, I noted Gran Turismo has having some of the classiest music of any racing game. GT6 may likely not disappoint with some of their softer music. As much as a lot of us GT fans like Daiki Kasho for rock, I'd say anything of Satoshi Bando or Yudai Satoh will surely provide great softer music. Even before the Holiday season, I still enjoy listening to PD's rendition of "Silent Night."

On the music front, I will say that the two kind of songs that play before a race are both very cool. I am going on the GT Academy 2013 game and what has played in demos of Gran Turismo 6 in making the previous sentence. Those are get-you-going songs... kind of like "Lose Control" by Ash in GT1, which was my get-me-going song in GT1. I am probably not going to go with a custom soundtrack for if I choose to want to listen to my own music. In fact, it's been a while since I actually used songs stored on my PS3. What I didn't like was that my playlist would somewhat play the same song or same set of songs. People- I have over 10 hours of music on my PS3 in about maybe 200-300 MP3s, and only a select few were chosen at random for my GT5 playing. Not going to say inexcusable, but sad.


We'll see what GT6 has to offer on the music front. But on the real... the crowd, car engines, the P.A. announcer who doesn't know what the heck he/she is talking about, the fans in the grandstands and in the infield playing whatever music they like, and stuff like that... that should be the REAL soundtrack for many of us racing gamers.
