For menu music, I think they should do what they did in GT4: Make a remix of the older themes from GT1 and 2. As for racing, I don't really care about what they put in, but it would be awesome if they used these:




(yes, I already know that they used "Summer Song" in GT4)


They get me pumped up and ready to race every time I hear them! Song names like "Speed" and album names like "Music for Speeding" just SCREAM that they would be perfect for GT6.
 
Needs more Pendulum.

Just not that Witchcraft/Watercolour bullplop. Needs properly good stuff like Still Grey - I can imagine this song in GT6... it's a masterpiece...

I don't want any soundtrack. I want to par my PS3/PS4 wth my external HDD (NAS) and want GT6 to use all the music found on that.
 
I don't know if you guys know this but you can get your music onto your ps3 and create a playlist that you can import in to gt5.

You do have to adjust the volume of the game sound effects and the volume of the music you import for it to be audible enough, and no your music doesn't get mixed in with the current soundtrack (which kinda stinks) but I'm sure we all have enough in our music library to fill up a race or two!
 
I don't care, as long as they don't get the music for the menu from a porn soundtrack. Seriously, I've had my parents come into my room wondering what the heck I was doing only to find out the music selector for PD accidentally put the music from his adult film mixed into the original menu music.
 
In my humble opinion, the best stuff on the GT5 soundtrack was the classical stuff and the drum and bass. I say they keep going with that.

GT5's soundtrack is one of my favorite features of the game and in my opinion is very tasteful. It really covers a lot of different genres and the ability to disable soundtracks makes for a very personalized experience.

I'm not wishing for any songs in particular but just that the format for GT6's soundtrack is similar to that of GT5!

All they need is a notice at the beginning of the game saying "Please transfer music files using the Custom BGM feature." Anybody can do that.
 
You can choose to, but it shouldn't be necessary. Most people would rather just jump into a race and not worry. Some (like myself) would rather hear the tires and the RPMs for shift points.


If it were necessary to have custom BGM, that would be a huge mistake.


As for my own choice in music, I'd be happy a lot more DnB.
 
I generally prefer the music over the sounds of the machines in GT5. Until PD manages to make them awesometacular.
