From that article:

Interesting that they can't/won't use the name "TCR" in game.
TCR is a registered brand:

The Hyundai N VGT already has a race variant and it is - exactly the same as the Mazda VGT cited - a Gr.1 car.

Yeah sorry 🤦‍♂️
I meant something more like the RX vision GT3
(which I only now realized is not a VGT)
Thanks for putting up with me

Just remembered the Viper had no branding for the white livery and it has Pirellis on the red livery. Weird.
Likewise, the Alfa Romeo 4C GR.3 has Pirelli branding as does the Lamborghini Huracan GT3, Mclaren 650S GT3 and Jaguar F-Type GR.3 on its original livery.

What I'm saying weird are the new alt liveries have the Michelin branding. The Viper didn't have branding, but it's new alt livery got Pirelli branding. I can't recall when the Pirelli stickers disappeared from the Livery Editor(might have been in the Undocumented Thread). Just seems like a weird tyre choice.
The real life Viper with that livery ran Michelins.

That's because THIS is what the alternate livery is based on:

Many of the alternate liveries are based on actual liveries, such as the Mclaren having the Von Ryan Racing livery. The Mercedes AMG GT3 '16 is another car with an alternate livery featuring Pirelli Branding because its based on Black Falcon's 2019 Blancpain GT Series livery:

Had to dig in the crates for that series. I only remember the silver and yellow gts-r as I made replica of that in GT Sport. Didn't know the red/white was run in the series.

The pirelli stickers were never in the gt7 livery editor

Elantra N TCR incoming? Nice, that's great news!

I really like the "standard" Elantra N already in the game, so a TCR version should be fire :dopey:
But as far as I'm concerned, I'll always prioritize road cars over their racing versions... but that's just me.

Seems like this whole partnership between Hyundai and PD will keep on giving, and I'm glad for it, but I can't shake this feeling that there are other brands which definitely deserve some more love, like Skoda and Volvo for example?

Especially for Skoda, they really deserve a lot more than just a single electric VGT...

I’m pretty excited to see the future of this collab, as well as what could be going on with Genesis. The latter could easily get the GMR-001 as a real-world Gr.1 racer, plus if they end up producing (and racing) the Magma GT, they could add that and its potential GT3 version!

At any rate, I’m glad to see Hyundai get a new Gr.4 racer, and I think it’s especially neat to see how the drivetrain, being FF, differs from the Genesis Coupe Gr.4’s FR layout. I think Hyundai was still working on a sporty model with an MR layout, too, right? Could that eventually serve as the basis for a new Gr.3 racer?
