on the flipside, there is no Sophy option.
The biggest overall issue I see with both is that they do not scale well.
Reggie has issues if the races are too short. The rubber band that slows it down is too aggressive during short races (5 laps or 10 minutes). Sophy is similar, but not as bad.
Both are bad over the long races (IMHO) of 1 hour or more, because you are likely going to throw in a pitstop, and we all know what happens if you pass the AI while it's in the pits. However, on this point, Reggie is better because the boost is slightly less aggressive. Sophy boost is over the top. So, if you are going to use pitstops, I suggest sticking with Reggie.
You have to find a sweet spot of car balance and race length. I've been fiddling with all the settings (as mentioned in the GR3 set up). I'd come back around to Group C and I find that a 900kg (1984 lbs) weight minimum works with a +/- 700hp ceiling. The cars should be around 876PP, with the exception of the Mazda. For that, I leave it at it's own weight and 690hp. I'm finding that 15 minute - 15 Lap race works best (Either Sophy or Reggie).
I took Reggie and Group C to Daytona (why their isn't a Sophy for this is beyond me). I started 10th and finished 7th after 15 minutes.
This was the end. I'm in the Silk Cut Jag

Really, what Reggie lacks most of all IMHO is the drive to fight back. Once passed, it sort of gives up. This is where Sophy shines, if only it didn't dive bomb you.
