Anyone has tunes for cars in a JGTC GT500 grid, such as the F40/Viper GTS '02/Diablo/R33?
I've been running them against the holy trinity of GT500 cars (Supra/NSX/GT-R) but its hard to match them because of the massive downforce. Was wondering if anyone had some decent setups before I start downgrading the Gr. 3 cars.
I have a JGTC ‘Legends’ championship, I don’t use any of the Gr.3 cars, they can’t be matched up correctly due to their fuel tanks being bigger, (I mean if you use pit stops).

I use the 92 and 02 NSX instead of the GT500 NSX, standard Supra and GT-R’s R32/33/34/400R.

If you use pits, just use all road cars with tunes, works really well.
It was actually good fun matching the cars in the game to the historical JGTC cars.
I found these cars were part of JGTC over the years, I just combined GT300/500 together for more variety.

Supra
M3 E30
M3 E36
M3 E46
Various Silvia's
Skyline
All the GT-R
Both NSX
Viper 02
Corvette ‘89
Carrera (both ‘95 & 92)
911 Turbo ‘81
911 GT3 ‘01
MR2
Celica
Ford GT ‘06
Impreza ‘04
FTO
Diablo
Countach ‘88
F430
F40
Sprinter Trueno
RX-7 (‘91 & ‘02)

There’s quite a lot you can work with and they all have the correct liveries in GT Auto.
Some of the cars might not be the exact model but they are close enough to have some really great, close racing.

I tuned all of mine to around 650 to 635 at somewhere around the 350bhp, not totally true to real life but good enough to enjoy racing.

Anyway, hope that helped in some way.

Ah yes this sounds like a lot of GT300 cars and Taikyu even. I have most of these cars, and yes it's quite funny I use Group A also aiming for around 630 PP. But I have seperate classes for GT300 and GT500 so even multiclass is possible. For GT500 I aim for around 700pp, GT300 (and everything else in Taikyu) 630pp.
Then a 450pp for hatchback.

I just need to fill the various grids.
Recently rediscovered the amazing 150bp competition with all hatchback. It's amazing racing. Really need to dig up my Suoabase database with all tunes and try to vibecode a website for custom races...
