That's pretty much it for this wishlist. Hoping we do get these types of engine swaps in the future. But until PD adds an engine swaps to the tuning shop or add a parts exchange feature (for both engine swaps and special parts instead of being locked behind the tickets), I doubt they'll do anything about the dumb RNG system they have implemented in the roulette tickets since day 1.

P.S. I left the LZ20B engine on the list on purpose cuz I think I may have predicted the engine being compatible with the Hakosuka and Kenmeri for this update. I don't have a crystal ball for this LOL! However, I didn't expect the FuguZ to get this engine as I wanted the RB26 inside it going inside the older Fairlady Zs, but how did the 240ZG got the Rampage swap and the '69 Fairlady Z only gets the SR20 is beyond me. 😂😂😂🤯🤯

Wrong thread, I'd think.

Curious as to how the cars getting the LZ engine are going to handle the peakiness in the power curve?

Not sure about that. I thought the LZ was an interesting addition and after driving the Skyline Super Silhouette a few times, the turbo lag is my only issue with it. I'm curious to see how the Hakosuka, Kenmeri and FuguZ will perform with other cars from other Group 3 engine swapped cars (like the V8 swapped Focus RS, 911 RSR swapped 930, Z4 GT3 swapped M3 E46 and 3.0 CSL etc.)

P.S. Could some help repost the engine wishlist I just made to the relevant thread? You have my permission to do so, just credit me! 🙏🤲🙌

So what are the % chance of winning a swap. I have zero non bonanza engine swaps. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery and doing them in real life.

I’ve completed all menus & daily roulettes 4-5 days/week and haven’t received an engine since November. Thus from my experience I’ll say don’t get hopes up. Bought an Xbox and gave Forza a try so maybe I’m being penalized!

Can’t say I was expecting this latest quintet, but that’s part of what I love about the constant additions - they sometimes just come right out of left field! Glad to see some of those older Nissans are getting swaps. Maybe it was a good thing I bought two of the KPGC10, after all.

Did not even knew about new update. Kinda stoped looking at GT news. So GT added my mazda 3 and that made my day !
But beside that....... So not a single engine award this time ? Ha, i did not get new engine since amuse s2000 swap, how long is that ? 150 days ? something like that. I kinda starting to loose intrest in s-tunning part of the game. Some guy wrote here that he did not get any engine for a loooong time, i kinda did not belived that, now im in the same position......and it ssssssucks. Im kinda addicted an im still opening every single rullette ticket, but just look at this ;)
I feel your pain, since the last update to this one all I've gotten is 3* and 4* not even a sniff of an old engine let alone a new one. Granted I've not played every day but I don't need the credits and getting 3* tickets adding 5-10k to the balance is hardly an incentive to try again. No engine tickets on the menu updates this time either.

Only one on my horizon is the new ford one. And don’t see having that kind of credit for year or two.
That doesn't given an engine ticket, just a regular six-star.

I recently redeemed 21 tickets (still have... 18 of them I think; should re-roll) and got one engine - out of a four-star - which I'll re-roll later to check because it was a "bonanza era" engine. So figure on 5% as a best-case scenario.

What's the bonanza Era?

What's the bonanza Era?
A period during update 1.17, last June, when a bug in the Extra Menus allowed you to receive as many Engine Tickets as you could ever want.

It was eventually patched, but of course there were fewer possible engines back then so some people ended up with a few hundred of each of most of them.

Finally completed the gr2 menu book. Guess what I got? A friggin Pagani Huayra engine 🥳

I am not sure yet, if I wanna put in the Supra 🤔 But will have to wait to buy one more anyway, since I have just two Supra's. One I wanna keep stock and then the other one I've modified the normal 2JZ version.

Welcome to the Smokey Nagata club 'ombre 😎. Couldn't believe it when I won mine. My Top Secret style Supra is only like 50kg lighter than stock and is on street legal sport tyres and has manuel transmission. I use it for just chilling in cruise / cop RP lobbies and the powerband / response is great, you can keep it in one gear most of the time, just put your foot down and it goes.

You're not just getting more peak power than the 2JZ but at less boost too meaning better response. The only thing I don't like about the powerband is how it peaks at 6,600rpm then drops off quite fast. Nothing a bit of long gearing can't fix but the 2JZ pulling hard all the way 8k is fun. I too made a highly tuned 2JZ version after as that offers it's own vibe too.

If you're planning to make a stripped out race car on slicks the overkill of having so much power and torque and the weight it adds might not make it worth it for anything other than very high speed tracks.

The Huayra-swapped Supra is frickin' AWESOME. I can highly recommend it.

I recently made a second user so that I could win duplicates of all the cafe collection engine tickets. They were all terrible. S15, Coyote, Hellcat etc. I saved them for yesterday's update. I got the Audi Quattro rally engine, the Enzo engine and the Huayra engine!
Rather looking forward to my V12 Supra. Does anyone else think the 2JZ sounds really muted and tame? The Huaypra is gonna sound pretty damn awesome...

What's the max power that engine can reach vs 2JZ?
With all currently available parts (as both of these engines have inaccessible special parts), the 2JZ maxes out at 777 HP, while the Huayra engine maxes out at 1003 HP.

Honestly, I was thinking of documenting the power each engine can make fully tuned. I don't think anyone else is tracking that.

Yes there is no info on that in any of the wiki/databases.
