So we only got 3 major updates in the second half of the year. The August update was just a week delayed July update. And two of its cars weren't available for purchase until after the September update. So the content was kind of split between two updates. The question is are we living end part of the game's life cycle... (probably not)

24/25 will be good years for new car racing games..gt is a great game......but....I will not even comment, we have what we have ..it is what it is..

Crazy. That was the base for my assumption that we’ll get an update of some sort this month for sure.

I wonder how PD could get players to use Gr.2, Gr.B, and Gr.1 cars in Sport Mode without necessarily having everyone use the same car? My idea would be to have it tie into the Manufacturers Cup, much like how in the IMSA Sportscar Championship, some of the rounds feature LMDh cars. But then there's the issue of trying to make sure these rounds wouldn't necessarily offer some sort of advantage if you've partnered with an automaker that doesn't have a car that qualifies - such as Mitsubishi. I suppose limiting your total score for the season to the same number of best-scoring rounds as everyone else would be fine.

I also wonder if this could could also apply to various road cars, too? Granted, I'd put in some limitations, perhaps either in the form of PP, power, weight, and/or limited tuning, since road cars don't seem to be subjected to BoP.

Yeah, I'd focus on trying to have more diverse fields in the Manufacturers Cup, whereas the Nations Cup could largely be one-makes - or feature multiple models that are otherwise identical, like we've seen with the BRZ and 86.

Hey guys, my gf unexpectedly gifted me GT7 and I can use her PS4 pro for playing it, but I can't rn. I'm wondering, she pays ps+ so, with my account in her console can I play the sport mode? Or I have to pay plus as well?
 
Open Lobbies not showing anything upon entry for anyone else currently? It sits blank, then projects 'Unexpected Error' code AF-160B10.

One of my GT discords has been abuzz with discussion of the issue for about 40 mins. It seems to be a pretty big outage happening right now.

It just sounds like the same kinda smooth jazz music to me. Not very festive. I was half expecting to be racing along to Santa Claus is Coming to Town or Step into Christmas.

Yeah my group had to cancel this week's race. It will connect to a lobby with a lot of patience, but the lobbies won't stay connected anyways.

They already ruined my Christmas by removing the strong DS4 vibration with the patch 1.41. So it's cool.
I uninstalled GT7 because it's impossible for me to play daily races like this. Can't feel the road.

Every car turns its instrument panel to night mode, but the Model 3 doesn't turn its central display to dark mode like how it does in real life. It's the equivalent of using Discord light mode whenever you enter a tunnel or drive at night

Hey gang, not sure if this is a new bug, old bug? Or just me...... The Ford GT350R from the dealership, with the wide-body fitted, I tried to add some fat BBS 3-piece modular rims to it, but the "front" rims have a deeper offset than the rear?? Looks dodgy as. :boggled: Has anyone else noticed...

It's very odd that someone can find Eiger Nordwand in Asseto Corsa downloads and in GT7 still missing...

That's not odd at all. PD decided not to port this track to the new game. Some random guy decided that he would like to port it to Assetto Corsa (techncially violating at least the EULA, if not copyright laws).

Those two have entirely different motivations, expectations and limitations for such a port. You might as well ask how there is a T-Rex mod in AC, but not in GT7.


However I do agree that it would be very welcome to return, those narrow turns were loads of fun.
 
I feel they need to keep some of the momentum for gt7 up with spec ll update,
becouse if months are skipped like december and january is just 3-4 cars with a couble of new events, it will get sterile fast, it took some time for me to want to admit this, i already starting to feel burned out a bit, but thanfully their is other games i can switch between, for now alan wake 2, i still like many of the qualities gt7 offers, but the single player just feel empty even now 21 months after release, but this is not just gt7 this is a problem in forza games as well maybe even worse there becouse its fomo, after watching hoki hashi video of gt4 witch might i also agree its the best career mode of all time, this is something gt7 should have, just imagine how good gt7 could be with career mode like that with all the other qualities they already made with gt7, i hope this is something pd thinks about for gt8, but with all that dev time with sophy it would make so much sense to have a proper career when sophy is fully ready

I´m gonna guess is has something to to with cafe menus you have not unlocked yet.
