If there is one thing I'd really want just as a QOL change is I'd like more choice in onboard views like I have with Dirt Rally or Grid Legends. Never had a game where I exclusively played cockpit view before until those two because beforehand I never found Any cockpit view from any game all that comfortable.

There’s this one onboard view that ACC has that is definitely missing.

It’s zoomed in and only shows the dash without the wheel.

It’s perfect for when you have your monitor right behind your sim wheel.

I am starting to think this could be „early” july update.

technically they could delay it because of the live event - who knows
 
Usually by now there is a server update/offline notice. I'm now fairly certain there won't be an update this week, and it'll be a early July update.

Which I actually think is a good thing, because it means there's greater likelihood of something bigger than usual coming.

Technically the update notice usually appears on the Tuesday or Wednesday so I think there's still time for this week, with the live event being next weekend I cannot see PD wanting to roll out an update the same week.

I am quite certain that some of the previous maintenance notices have dropped 48 hours before a content update went live. Besides, last month we got silhouette teasers on a Monday. I’d save the doom mood for the day after tomorrow.

Last year we got an update same week as a live event.

An update could still happen its not out of the window yet.

Most of the staff will be in attendance at the live event to ensure that there are no issues with the game etc during the live event so I would think that rolling out an update whilst it would be doable should there be issues or errors that result from that event it would lead to longer resolution time due to limited staff at the offices.

It's just my thoughts though, we should know for sure in the next couple of days.

I've got a bit of mild concern too, because I was veeeeeery specifically told (by someone, somewhere) to expect something on June 24th regarding the next update... And it's getting late in the day.

Also I'm completely unavailable from 8am on 25th until Saturday so...
 
Maybe for this month, PD have the real cars behind curtains at the event and they are planning a special car reveal for the next update to the players and spectators in Montreal before the video goes to the public - trying something different!

Obviously this is definitely NOT what will happen but it’d be a somewhat creative way to reveal the next update cars
 
The dataminers told us that they usually know what will be the content, but not when it will be released, so there is a chance that we won't have the expected update this month and that it will be at the beginning of July instead.

It depends what timezone you're in - still morning in Montreal and Colorado...
 
Or maybe they will announce and di the premiere in montreal in 2 weeks and release the circuit for everyone the week after…you never know with them
