Stand isnt the problem , hell i can create my own but i cant create my own disc drive 😂
I think it's a bit early for it to be that. Sony would be able to restock quite a bit between now and the PS5 Pro's launch. The last thing scalpers would want is to generate news of the disc drive going out of stock this early on, because it gives Sony more time to react in the supply chain.
It would make more sense for scalpers to take all of the stock closer to launch, or even just to scalp the PS5 Pro itself since gatekeeping disc drives doesn't render the console completely useless in this age where most buy games digitally.
That's why I think the majority of these sales are regular consumers.
It's compatible. Playstation already confirm it.It would be hilarious if the disc drive ended up not compatible with Pro.
yes thats normal, rt is quite low resolution thats why its noisySince we’re kind of talking about ray tracing.. When I set the graphics priority to ray tracing, I get this weird fuzzy paint effect on some cars in gt auto and the garage, if the priority is frame rate, the car paint looks normal.. Has any one seen this before? View attachment 1388863

It's also using checkerboard rendering from 1080p, so that also adds to the noise.yes thats normal, rt is quite low resolution thats why its noisy
I've noticed as well. I'll be upgrading to the PS5 Pro after the holidays when I get work bonuses etc. I'll see what the internet says about it in the meantimeSince we’re kind of talking about ray tracing.. I am still without a PS5, think I'll wait for the regular PS5s come down in price, I do not need that extra fancy stuff...That’s fine. It’s not like when on my deathbed I’ll be saying out loud to my family whilst I pull out my IV and rip my gurney from my chest, “Dagnnabit! Wish I never spent all that money on a PS5 Pro and tv and stand and PSVR2 and then bought the PS6 after two years!!!! Damn you Sony! cough Argh!”.
For sure. It’s like buying a car. You don’t really need the 2025 top of the line EX when the 2024 base model DX can do the job.I am still without a PS5, think I'll wait for the regular PS5s come down in price, I do not need that extra fancy stuff...
I hope that I does come down in price, but I don't think it actually will.I am still without a PS5, think I'll wait for the regular PS5s come down in price, I do not need that extra fancy stuff...
Or buy the slim when it goes on sale at a specific retailer.if you want cheaper PS5 , only way is to get a used one or wait for official refurbished PS5
Yeah, I've noticed. No more long distance views. When did the Watkins Glen Long Course replay style change so drastically? TV cameras are closer and much better now, no more annoying long shot aerial views in turn 8 (Heel) and so on. Even the old saved replays have been updated.
Nothing new as for the Short Course though.
The vision-based one was the original, pre-Sony AI project revealed in 2020 and then came under the new company's umbrella:Seems like Sony AI is developing another AI model based on GT7 (not Sophy) though they don't confirm if it'll ever be made public or not

Before anyone starts using this to further dunk on the Pro, it's using PSSR. And as with DLSS on Nvidia GPUs, you take a low resolution like this and use it with PSSR to cleanly make it look 4K.According to DF gt7 with ray tracing has internal resolution 1188p on ps5pro
Yes but if internal res is bellow 1440p it wont be looking as good as native 4k (even dlss which is better than pssr according do DF wont be at native level with internal resolutions closer to 1080p)Before anyone starts using this to further dunk on the Pro, it's using PSSR. That's really the whole point of the Pro: to achieve 4K without sacrificing the 60FPS and RT (or go balls out on RT instead).
Now whether it justifies the $700 price tag, though, is up to one's opinion.
This isn't the first case. Hot Wheels are weird like that lolView attachment 1389414

I would just like to point out that not only is the Shelby GT350R in GT7, but Hot Wheels has also produced the Shelby GT350R (I in fact have one). So that could've easily been in this set...and yet its this one they chose...
Wow, I've never acquired those in my lifetime. First time I've seen those.View attachment 1389414

While I'm definitely familiar with some quirky decisions of Hot Wheels, I just found it intriguing given their Gran Turismo Sets (And I assume their similar sets for Forza and even the one they did for PCARS 2) usually appear to effectively feature all the cars in the set that are also in the game (with some cases of "Close enough" like the Corvette C7.R and the Ford GT). This is the first time that as far as I can tell, they seem to have intentionally glossed over a car that they have actually produced and was in-game for a car that wasn't.This isn't the first case.
