Motivated by the recent development in US politics regarding Elon Musk (not the topic here), a number of popular Reddit subs appear to consider outright banning content from X (formerly Twitter). Today I saw redditors mention it in a discussion around Gran Turismo and Kaz' tweets about upcoming updates for GT7. Is this going to become a topic here on GTPlanet? Not so much in the forum, but in the News section? I often see X postings linked in the articles, and I wonder if this is going to change.
I brought this up back in November after the election:
I wonder if Kaz will find a new platform to share his silhouette teaser going forward. I think X has become a questionable fit considering its soon-to-be ties to state government.
Back then I was mostly concerned about the sudden blurring of lines between a private enterprise and state-controlled media. Somehow it no longer seemed to align with the marketing activities of Gran Turismo. However, since then I would say X has become even more controversial. Musk is acting like he has lost any grasp on human decency and is just trying to ruin the good reputation of Tesla and Space X. :boggled:

my latest news is logging on to make some $$$ in Tokyo and "DNS error" offline mode.

Note that my friends list shows, my trophy list shows, I can even go to PS store and buy the PS plus free add-on for Sky.

GT7 was glitchy last two Sunday nights racing with friends

Tried this?

Tried this?

1) hardwired always has been
if #2 and #3 were issues then GT7 would not have worked previously in identical configuration and other SEN functions I detailed would not work.

Frankly I'm wondering if Polyphony operations for NA are impacted by LA fires and on a smaller capacity DR/BC server solution.

I've had GT7 since release and never had these issues until recently.

You have little to lose but five minutes of your time. And, much as it matters, the North America server is in Virginia.

Also on that topic, you may have wondered why GT is seemingly the only racing game to feature Teslas at ths point (barring license issues where Tesla seemingly didn't have a licensing department for a brief time and GT seemingly still holding the license from the PS3 days). Other major racing games didn't have them nowadays - the latest one was Rocket League featuring the Cybertruck last year.

That reminds me, I've GOT to get the the LFA and try it at least two or three hours. I completely forgot the car was in GT7!! 😅
And if you want, you can recreate the Nurburgring Edition (Front - Type A, Rear Wing - Type A and BBS RG-Fs should do the trick)

Jan 2025 update is getting a tight window..

I remember GT7 also included an animation for SpaceX rockets taking off and landing while driving on Daytona. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it though. I wonder if it got removed.

Does anyone else have problems trying to see the My Menu part of the Gran Turismo website? I get this:

Got this last week the last time I tried, and it's still there. I've tried a different browser as well, same thing.

After I click CLOSE, I refresh site

Sorry but just one more photo that I thought was super interesting is the EVO I next to the EVO II
It's surprising how high the suspension is on the EVO II, compared to in game

I thought we were getting the Evo I when Kaz posted the silhouettes. We could have them got the Evo II parts instead. Anyway, it’d be nice to have the Evo I added like the E30s have the two versions.

Due to having problems finding the Rig I want I haven't loaded/played GT7 since August of last year. I also need to get a PS5 Pro, but the RTX 5090 is coming out later this month so I'll probably be getting that...whenever I decide to start GT7 again Im pretty sure I will have a pretty nice and hefty update

Love mine 😁 (also, if you just add the Sports Computer you get the exact 563hp of the Nurb)

Tried both of these, nothing. Tried different browsers, same problem. Strange.
If you're connected to a VPN, disconnect it. The GT7 site doesn't allow VPNs ever since the AWS outage some years ago.

Gran Turismo remained strong in Europe but took a nosedive in the US after GT5. So it's good to see GT7 doing the numbers in that market. Some estimations I've seen suggest over 3.4 Million in the US alone, so probably over 10 Million worldwide.
