then we need to open a new branch of predictions

Yeah honestly the predictions thread could be the exact same stuff every month. It's not like we get new info or even leaks regularly these days.
You might be able to have a decent guess of predicting what might be in an update at some point, but not specifically enough for the next update. At least not until the silhouette teaser gets released and people start basing their guesses off of that.

You must have a reason for thinking that, I mean, I get it if you just like one model more than the other, but talking about 'sense' indicates you think newer is the logically more reasonable option... I'm wondering why?
It resembles more real life. When you go into a new-car dealership, you expect to see the latest spec of every car.

The predication was always weird to me. Were people even really predicting or dressing up wishes as predictions by throwing in "datamined list"?

At least the thread left off on a high note, since the Qashqai was so obvious that a lot of people actually got one right last month.

I loved the pattern prediction and data analysis put out by Famine, though. I don't remember, should we expect a US car next or is it the third month in a row of the 1-0-0-0-1 pattern?

I meant the latest big change
I'd say the RWS was the biggest single change, and that came in 2017 in a 1,000-car limited run.

And was then reintroduced as the RWD on a non-limited basis in 2020.

Neither of those things are 2019 - which was really just a facelift with a couple of mechanical changes (one being "more power") in any case.

Yep, we're on (n)-0-0-? right now, with four previous instances of (n)-0-0-0-1. US cars have been so badly under-served that four of the 14 are SEMA cars (one of which is a Civic) and two more are Ford of Europe cars with no connection to Ford USA at all.

I’m not bothered by Fuji. Probably because I had the old BMI video of Fuji Fast and the later videos with the cast & crew racing and testing cars there. Playing it over and over as Tsuchiya and Hattori used a van to figure which lines would be optimal. Not to mention all the big races there which makes it look better on screen anyway.
So, when I race there, especially in Group A replicas, I enjoy that it’s a real track that’s used today. Just like all the other real world circuits.

Many thanks! The fact they started the social posts already makes me think we could have an August update (I don't know if those who know have already given an opinion on this in other threads as it was done with July). Does anyone know/remember when they first started to drop? And if so, has there ever been a skipped month since then? I'd suppose that before skipping a month they would release something more (4 cars for example), to keep the spacing out more or less constant? And the lack of an extra menu this month makes the number of posts even lower.

On the 1-0-0-0-1 pattern, the underrepresentation of US cars is criminal, even for a JP-centric game as GT has always been. One of those I'd like to see, and which is plausible since it is a gap in the Mustang line, is either the Foxbody or the SVT from late 90s, early 00s which gives me memories of Ford Racing 2. Plus the AAR which should be coming

PD wont ever do proper GT3 or any real world class , that's why we got the Gr system instead

and i dont mind the fantasy race cars in Gr.3 or Gr.4 - that makes Gran Turismo game even in previous games it had fantasy race cars which makes them unique in those games - for example the FTO LM edition etc

GT300 / GTE cars in Gr.3 are fine as they are properly balanced but having those much older cars like 90s GT500s , GT1/GT2 and Super Silhouette those should be in their own category , same goes for Gr.1 and Gr.2 - easily fixed by adding subclasses

event wise i do agree we need more that are locked to the category/class - where are the new Endurance races , new Championships and Red Chilli pepper races? and the custom races need more options for that too
