It could be made quite versatile if they wanted, for oval racing in particular.
Here's a quick edit I made a while ago that shows a rough idea of what a couple new roads could do. Elevation change would probably be a bit different to achieve this though:

Kinda wonder if there is a way to Monza-fy it (If you're familiar with Monza's original insane layout, you'll get it)

My best guess would be that the Oval portion is run on the outer part for the East section (right on the pic, get what I mean) and when you cross over the smaller oval, the bridge leads you back to the inner part, so that you are on the inner part of the main straight, to be on the inside for the beginning of the next lap

That they are offering a new job position
That position has been on the PD site for months. Here it is in November 2024, and that's not even the first time it was on there:

All they've done recently is change the site look/layout, and there's a couple of programmer jobs that have been added in June.

I think they're messing with us now  Two of the three cars in social media posts not even a week after the update?
No no no no; I don’t want this anxiety, I’m too old for this **** I’m gonna stay in my rocking chair and pet my cat

Now if you excuse me, I’m gonna get outside for a second…

The Qasqai, besides being a bad addition to this game, its probably the worst invention ever. Why would you want an engine that develops 160ish HP to charge a battery for a car that makes about 190hp from its electric engine? Wouldn't it be just better to keep the small engine and save a TON of weight and emitions by not having anything electric... Having an electric system requires its own maintenance and then, the ICE would also require its own maintenance. Not to mention that the stupid 2KW battery would most likely require a change before its too long because of heavy usage given its low capacity. It's like having the worst of all problems together crammed into a boring car. Who would anyone buy this crap?

It definitely looks like they realized how people started to look at the posts to predict when next update is coming and decided to change things around. Which is honestly kinda confusing because why? It's like they are saying "We are not giving you a road map of updates, zero info about what future updates will contain until like less than a week before release, and also we don't want you to know when the next updates drops, even though it's veeeery approximate and just gives you a slight clue at best."

It's just a serial hybrid. Similar to the Chevy Volt/Opel Ampera a while back.

Essentially the electrical drive acts as a CVT transmission, and with today's advances in traction motors, it won't have a significantly worse ratio of efficiency compared to a mechanical transmission.

However it allows the engine to always operate at the most efficient load/rpm, even more so than a CVT since the battery will account for spikes in power demand. Which in total is a net gain for emissions and fuel consumption.

Also they are advertising "EV like driving comfort" which I guess is a selling point nowadays.

Posting them at the end of update's life seems to be an odd look anyway. Typically, posts relating to content added in the update should be done during the update's life.

That's true, it does make more sense. But it's still a bit weird how they only changed their schedule after people started actively use those to "predict" next update release.
Personally, I like surprises. This whole "leak/spoiler culture" is kinda lame. You don't have to know everything before it happens.
You definitely don't have to know everything before it happens. But wouldn't it be much better if, for example, instead of having one silhouette posts few days before an update, we had a tricky silhouette to guess each week? I feel like that would be entertaining, and it still would only cover the cars and keep the rest of the content as a "surprise".

Diesel-Electric locomotives would like to have a word.

TL;DR they use an onboard Diesel motor to generate electrical power. That power subsequently powers the drive wheels.

The idea is actually very strong; the execution does need some work.

What I find a bit annoying with the Qashqai is the sound of the ICE Engine, it’s always this static sound like a generator, no matter if you are accelerating or braking, this just feels weird
