There will be no more updates. 1.62 was the last one, for the year 2025.

PD should do this for offline players as well.

I always felt the Sport Mode races should be available to Single players. Especially now since PD been doing the Weekly Challenges. It’d be an opportunity to let Single players have a chance to experience Sport Mode instead of spending real money for PS+.

The time trial is available to single-player players.

You mean that we should have access to sport mode races without PS+? I don't think PD could do that on their own and I don't think Sony would allow it.

No, just setting up the same races in Single Player. We can do it in Custom Race, but just set the Sport Mode races up as Weekly Challenges for Single players.
There's already the same or better versions of these Sport Mode races for single players.

WTC 800 at Nurb 24 hours (single player is 3 laps whilst that joke of a Daily is just 1).
WTC 700 at Brands Hatch.
Not sure what (presumably) road car they're using for Sardegna but there's a few races on that layout.

It’s not about it being better, it’s about doing the exact races from the World Tour. We got the Red Bull races from the World Tour. Give players that wouldn’t and have never experienced the normal World Tour events a chance to do the same races without going online. It should have been like that every World Tour since GT Sport to now.

Yes, I have been doing the Time Trials for a good while since no longer having subscribed to PS+.

Edit:
The Opel VGT should be cool in VR with the proximity warning.

They introduced the Skoda and we were expecting some old Skoda cara but nothing….and same it is going to happen with Opel unfortunately
Maybe those more typical vehicles won't be coming at the same time as the VGT, but I'm hoping the VGT basically opens the door to other models being added. This could mean within GT7, or in the series future in general. See also: Volvo.

i dont know why i feel like this, but i have lost all my intrests to play gt7.

Feel like it has become so sterile. And they are not doing enough with the updates to keep it fresh.

Get back into older games like command and conquer generals, some mods for resident evil etc, Carx street, and given Tokyo xtreme racer s go soon. I must say i have had way more fun playing some of those titles campared to gt7 lately.

I agree. GT7 crappy (game) design makes it get boring so fast, that not even the desire of completing everything 100% makes it midly interesting. Also most of my favorite cars are missing, but that doesnt make it totally boring honestly, you still have 542 cars. But damn they messed up game design with this title, also you can see theres no clear idea for the game, or if there was any, it was poorly executed. Lots of contradictions by Kaz and their team.

Poor design indeed.

I started collecting extra 70s vehicles during this summer holidays to make a custom grid and prepare good endurance races with them. We are now mid-September and I'm still waiting for a Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) '73 to show up at the LCD. Apart from the quick discovery of updates, that was my basic gameplay experience on GT7 this whole summer break. Launching GT7, see if a car I need was at the LCD, turning off the game.
And every time I see certain cars showing up, I tell myself that if I need one for a future race and I don't buy 10 of them RIGHT NOW, I'll be screwed for the next five months. Debilitating....

I did nothing else and I'm slowly starting to get away from the game again.

Agreed, updates can‘t fix fundamental flaws in the game‘s design, they would have to remake the entire „career“ mode (if you can call the menu books that) from scratch.

Creating liveries and scapes are the only reason I‘m still playing this game but I can totally understand how GT7 would turn stale pretty quickly for people who primarily play it for the career and a sense of progression.

I have about 100hours but what really kills me is how much grinding you have to do to get credits. making credits hard to get whilst making cars expensive to simulate "real world economics" misses the mark of what a "real racing simulator" is supposed to mean in video games
