Curious what these mean:

New Menu Book Seasonal Menu
- Temporary menus?
New events in Circuit Experience
- Is this just the 2 new tracks, or an actual overhaul to Circuit Experience?
Improvements to online races
- Return of shuffle races? Probably not, but would be cool 😄

Been waiting for some new tracks to come to GT7 to fire it up again so very happy about these news.

The weekly races are also a welcome bonus.

Cant wait. Its been too long GT7 😅

While I don't think anything Gran Turismo will be featured in it, I wonder if the timing of the upcoming PlayStation State of Play was the reason why this month's update cycle is a day earlier than normal, so as to not be drowned out by a plethora of other PlayStation gaming news on the same day.

Slow news day.

I'm still gonna be the debbie downer lol Beyond the 2 tracks and 8 vehicles, it doesn't seem to be what I'd call a "major" update. Hopefully they aren't implying there won't be updates between now and then (so zero cars). FTO is cool. Thought the Mines R34 was already in the game. Need to see the other 4 cars. Edit: Does seem they are implying no updates for Oct/Nov, which is what re-contextualizes this being a "Major" update for me. It's potentially the same or less cars than we'd get otherwise across 3 months of updates (when they were doing monthly updates with more than 3 cars.)

And why I don't get super excited or nag about tracks is because they need like 15 more tracks, not just a couple. And mainstream racing games seem to favor big, F1 tier tracks, which often aren't exciting for normal cars. Gilles-Villneuve is alright I guess.

Was also just talking to a friend about having a way to compare our two different cars setups on the same car. Data Logger will allow that but also its not a big feature most people will use. I'd really like some telemetry for suspension, brakes, and tires. Maybe aero?

Anyway, cool to get any kind of announcement for anything at all 🤷‍♂️

Plus Yas Marina and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. I imagine they'll also add a few extras like Sophy support for more cars. Also Dunlop is coming on the tire supplier.

Are you expecting and entirely new game? Ya, by all accounts, this is a major update. This more than the standalone "My First GT" that was released last year.
