I'm really excited for the Spec 3! It's gonna be a good update I feel. Increasing the collector is a major change for people that like to do custom races. Depending on how much they raise the level, we could maybe see 800% bonus now to our winnings?

I have 603k collector points, so I imagine it'll be easy for me to get to maximum level again.

If the current calculation remains the same and there's not an additional cap getting in the way, that'd be CL158...

Given that the total car list value, if you were to buy one example of each, is about 570m credits - and nudging 575m depending on what else is in the update - we probably shouldn't expect anything higher than that (CL154/155). Personally, I don't think they'll go above CL100, at 233,200pt.

Wasn't there supposed to be another VGT this year from a manufacturer that already has a VGT ?

I thought I remember having reAd somewhere around here...

What if one of the new cars is a Pebble Beach winner, like the Cunningham C-4R?
Or this gorgeous Ferrari 512S!!!!

I was also thinking about Nissan R390GT1
If another race car is among the 4 unknown cars, that would make it the third race car in an 8-car update. Are they really going that strong on race cars all of a sudden?

I know it's no ordinary update after all, but still curious to think about it.

Didn't know Top Gear has fallen that much, wow. So many words just to basically say "ye sure nice stuff but I don't care".
Not a single proper issue raised, not a single argument presented why there's no reason to be excited about upcoming update, proper journalism right there.
And the final sentence is the cherry on top, "I paid 50 quid and 3.5 years later I still get consistent big content updates? Kinda lame!"

i see a lot people talking about 296 gt3, but thats actully the car i see the least forward to in spec lll, the highlight for me is mines and fto, the tracks are very nice to, but very intrested in the seasonal Menu Book and what that could be.

I think a lot of details will be revealed at los angeles live event in november.

Same here. I've been expecting the new cap will likely be 100 ever since Spec 3 update was announced, but a level higher than 100 would be interesting though! :D

Would make sense since both upcoming circuits feel more suited for race cars than the lovely crossover SUVs they've been adding lately.

Then again, we can't apply common sense to PD's choices.

Personally, I hope that's not the case. Couldn't care less about race cars other than Gr.4s. GT3s do absolutely nothing for me.

I think Ferrari 499P isn’t totally out of possibility (but doubt it would be together with 296 GT3). Ferrari VGT uses the same V6 engine as 499p and is heavily inspired by Ferrari hypercar.
Additionally Ferrari 499P is HIGHLY ANTICIPATED by vast majority of the community itself across every single social!!! Don't rule it out especially the corresponding fact for the past 3 years and 4 months the GR010 HYBRID has been the sole Hypercar/GTP of Gr.1! (And to throw the meat of the corn the 296 GT3's addition will also add UTMOST CONFIDENCE for the 499P's aswell!) A Gr.1 machine will benefit SPEC III spectacularly and the 499P is the car to do it vice versa of a creative menu book names (Ferrari or Racing Ferrari V6). 🧠💡🪄

Knowing how PD operates we have only 2 options for the remaining 4 cars to be revealed, pick your side carefully🤭🤭

Team Daily commute 🧐

I like the cars on both sides. But knowing way I play, maybe is best to choose the commute team? The Citroen and Dodge would get much love in my garage as rusty junkers. I like doing that with all cars I get. Something about racing junker cars is more fun to me than shiny cars.

We definitely need to be able to share tunes. Hopefully it will included in SPec 3 even though it wasn't mentioned
Kaz said once it can't be done because tunes depend on parts as well. Like sharing a tune with manually set gears and trying to apply it to a car that doesn't have the upgraded gear box would break the game, or at least, the tune. You would need to share the "whole car".

Surely you can detect that the current car doesn’t have a custom transmission, and show the offer to buy it?

They kind of do this already with styles, if a style has certain visual car parts, and you don’t have them for your car, you’ll get the option to buy them as part of applying the style.
