Gran Turismo 7 Speculations and theories Fact-checking

After a long time with my nose buried in this world and especially after a fact that takes me partly personally, I have decided to act in a way that is intelligent and helpful to all.

Chatter often circulates about various upcoming additions to GT7, easy examples can be cars like the 499p that now months and months ago was liked on the comment of a GT post on Instagram to tracks like Pikes Peak, to discuss it head on and check how much of this is true or just mere assumptions that are thrown around in pure garbage



All this silly heroism of mine starts with a character, known for the right reasons, who has been hanging out on YT for a long time now....
Namely the Italian guy named Volt

He makes videos in “English” (he writes things in yellow, recommended by chatGPT because it attracts the eye more) for the sole purpose of sharing his absolute certainties concerning the additions that always according to this guy should be coming.

You don't need a genius to see that this is literally taking random things on GT Planet or/and Reddit taking them as 100% true facts...

for your information I know it is Italian because I primarily make videos in Italy talking about these things, but using my head and understanding that half are garbage and the other mere theories always specifying that there is no certainty until official posts.
Well this guy from as far back as June 17, 2024 has been taking all the info I am talking about and passing them off as absolute truths continuing to this day.



I have every reason to be angry, but I know how to deal with children. In fact, I decided long ago to stop bringing this kind of content that only attracts toxic and desperate information characters and to leave this person without dinner. But being that I like leaks and speculation I am sure that 2 chats here on GT Planet will not hurt, especially since I will be able to open my opinion with the international one being that as of today I am closed partly in the Italian one.

going back to the beginning, I think this forum will simply serve to clarify certain things and avoid, however small this thing is today, to avoid sharing ********, if we are even a little smart we can understand when something MAKES sense and when it doesn't.

I'm sure there are several people in here who know and can help, the first one is definitely @tankuroded who I think is one of the most knowledgeable and currently active figures in this regard like many others.

Let's try to make something work, or at least I'll try

So what is the point of this thread? To speculate on what may be coming to the game, while trying to avoid a content creator that you don't like catching on as they may pass off your speculation as fact?

A lot of content creators do that. They scour the internet forums in the hope of finding something that people will want to know, and convey it to their audience with confidence so their viewers believe it's going to be true.

These forums also have a bunch of official threads dedicated to speculation, including one created for every update, where we can all make semi-educated and thought out predictions of things to come.

So I'm not sure what the purpose is of this thread is. Can you elaborate?

For complete clarity, this is the complete list of cars there is factual evidence to believe have a chance of coming to the game/series at some point:

• The cars in the 2022 datamine (everything in the first post of this thread, plus the M2 1001 that is the sole remaining car in a later datamine in that thread). We get roughly one of these a month, including last month's 812 and March's Vantage.
• Cars that have won the Pebble Beach GT Trophy but are not yet in the game, because every car that wins this has the opportunity to be put in the game, licensing allowing.
• The production Afeela, when it eventually comes out in real life, because of course Sony will market it.
• The 1st generation Fiat Panda, which was spotted in behind the scenes footage PD put out last month.

If anyone says with any confidence that a car not on this list is coming to the game, it is slightly educated guesses at best, and cheap speculation at worst. And even these, sans the Panda which seems fairly certain, are not 100% guarantees by any stretch.

Just so you know, repeatedly regurgitating old news reports like this is one of modus operandi of Volt's YT channel, which is the issue raised by the OP (@GT Electro).

this space is a filter to the form related speculation on the next version of turn here my intent is to take this information that goes around and say whether we have certainties or not.

So as done by user @Nakano219 put on paper things that have had value over time, or as done by @05XR8 ask if indeed certain things are to be taken into account or not.

If my intention is to stop the spread of misinformation I think having a place to have someone more experienced and who in the best of cases has more information than an inquisitive novice as is only fair to be able to explain what is really safe from what is only a guess, I don't think so vain is the purpose of this place however misinformation will always be present
