So do we agree that they drastoically improved the quality rt mode and pssr on ps5 pro? I feel it is so much sharper then before.
Having a hard time to judge it honestly. We would need concrete comparison shots and videos. Before and after the patch.
In think it’s also a little bit better but honestly it wasn’t bad before…
There is still some aliasing in sharp edges, thin lines, grids and fences.
The material of headlights does look better indeed. This had some visible issues before and it looks much much better now.

Definitely wouldn’t call this „drastically“.

May be related, but is this what is being seen as aliasing (diagonal lines in shadows)?

I have noticed this on base PS5.

Does dirt accumulate faster if you up the variable time speed ratio? I often run the Spa 1-hr race (24x time speed and with high chance of rain) but I have not done that lately as I am busy with the power pack.

I didn't try but I don't think so. On this run I had time frozen so there was no wind.

But If you want to take pics, save the replay, dirt goes off the car once the race is over.

Ran the WTC 800 Spa twice post update and I can say there is some minor accumulation but I also raced cleanly and kept it on the tarmac. However you really have to look for it because it's not noticeable at first glance.

PD just needs to boost the accumulation really.

Hello,
The banners above the Monza track have been removed. Here in the power pack, Porsche cup.
I lost my braking markers !
Some of the trackside features are different depending on the event. Pretty sure I’ve seen Monza like this in some other event too.

Noticed that the audible note of the tires when traction is broken is more refined, and in my headphones I can hear the corner/side losing grip. Maybe was here all along, but noticed this immediately.
I wanted to post that I immediately noticed that the screeching was louder.

Figured I'd read the thread first 'cause I couldn't imagine that anyone else hadn't noticed.

My submission for the OP:
Tyre-screeching sound level has been raised.

Was the Dunlop branding at Trail Mountain always there? Maybe because I haven't raced there until the PP dropped, but I was only aware of the increased Toyota GR branding.

I saw a report that PSSR is getting a new update soon (in general) so I expect there to be a noticeable change at that point. Still, ya, it does seem different but I can't put my finger on it.

It's less... "dirtier" than before, I would say. And sharper while the cars are in motion.

Still some flickering, though, especially in distant details (and this is something I've noticed in other games that use PSSR, btw). But that's where PSSR 2.0 will likely fix. Mark Cerny has been touting for a while about a new version of PSSR for 2026, so... yeah.
