Based on the original thread format by @Johnnypenso

For every update released, there is the potential for changes not listed in the initial patch notes. Please report any undocumented changes you find in the current update and I'll update the OP as much as possible to reflect those changes found.

1. It is encouraged that you make an effort in verifying these changes as much as possible, either through videos or images.
2. If you need help from the community to verify something, don't be afraid to ask.
3. It is strongly advised that you be as specific and detailed as possible with the information including a brief description of the bug or improvement before it was fixed/changed (if applicable) and how. If English is not your first language that's ok, just do it to the best of your ability.

THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD ABOUT THE OFFICIAL CHANGES Only any changes not listed on the official site are discussed here
THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD ABOUT THE PROS AND CONS OF THE UPDATE or anything else other than undocumented changes in the update. Keep those strictly to the appropriate threads:

New update and now we're on the funny number. Post changes you find not documented in the patch notes (which are also listed in the OP). Remember to post glitches, Physics changes or other stuff in these threads only:

And now you may post.

The leichtbau is a bit borked (no normal intercooler option)

By definition, new cars added in an update are a documented change, so anything affecting them particularly should go in the general update discussion thread.

I don't recall where I read it, but the Leichtbau I think has a redesigned intercooler compared to the 3.3 Turbo S (to help with the extra 61hp) so this may reflect that.

This isn't an issue with other turbo aspirated cars i.e the previous gen 911 turbo

In the leichtbau's instance it's just the stock part isn't available in any way once you buy an upgrade

Again, the Leichtbau has an upgraded intercooler compared to the base Turbo in real life, therefore this could reflect the real-life car. The 930 Turbo can't have an upgraded intercooler compared to the base car because it is the base car.

And it's still not an undocumented change, because it deals with a car that's part of the documented changes.

Isn't this thread also meant to cover bugs/glitches too though? because what I'm trying to get at here is bone stock it has the normal option, when an upgrade is bought it's no longer selectable (stock car for reference) as the option is greyed out but the circular 'dot' is signifying it's applied, which can the done once you buy an upgrade for the normal part

Apologies for any confusion

Indeed, this is a bug. You can circumvent it by creating a new tuning sheet. The stock intercooler is restored and selected by default, despite not being able to be re-selected if you change it to a sport or race intercooler.

No, I specifically state in the OP that if you found a bug, you post it in the specific thread linked.

As mentioned earlier by @GBalao888 , Mazda's logo has been updated in the brand central and in the HUD of races.

The engine startup sound of the ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 has been changed to that of the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02 (god I hope this was a mistake...).

The sound of the ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 has also been changed during gameplay.

The ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 has its stock PP updated, going from 493.78PP493.75PP (I couldn't figure out what changed dynamically, sorry).

Lastly, while not undocumented per se, I thought I'd share the differences in exterior and interior of the ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91, since those aren't listed in detail.

The cockpit rear view mirror was changed, and the front windshield has lost its green tinting (most noticeable from the top).

The default front licence plate holder of the ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 has been made thinner when viewed from the side. From the front, the frame no longer extends down to cover the whole plate.

Base PS5, RTX on.

I wish they had given the Type A front bumper turn signals; alas, that seems intentional.

The RX-7 emblem on the rear of the ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 will now change to red if its base colour is not Vintage Red.

The Gran Turismo website's official car list has been updated with the new Mazda logos and corrected photos.

No one else noticed a change in the physics, especially on controller? For me, it's much easier to handle slides and recover instead of snapping Soo much. Throttle application seems better and more consistent. It's actually fun to play now. I have to test with the E36 M3 to see if it's a physics change or a controller setting change (that car has been terrible to drive)

The Gran Turismo website's official car list has been updated with the new Mazda logos and corrected photos.

It originally had:
  • The front license plate holder from the '93–'98 models
  • The rear view mirror from the '95– models
  • The rear RX-7 emblem being always silver ('93–)
  • The officially-called "Dark Tinted Rear Glass" from the '00– Type R, Type RS, Type RZ and all SPIRIT R models
(The '95 mirror and the tinted rear window is also on the car in the PS3 games)
What was lucky is, the RE Amemiya RX-7 has the rear view mirror from the early model (the real car, too), so they simply had to use that.

And what's good to hear is, that unique rotary whine, which was also heard in the past GT, Initial D games, etc. is much more noticeable!

This is something I havem't seen before (don't have a pic of it yet). I am getting an offer for a bonus reward for completing a menu book (36 in my case). It says I have 25 days to get the extra reward. Didn't see that before today.

If you're reffering to the ticket, those have always had those (At least since I started playing back in July 2024). All of them have a hard date you have until then to collect your reward.

Just noticed that PP of the LFA was a bit increased in this version (594.81 → 596.91)
Can anyone check if it's still possible to use the H-pattern shifter and clutch pedal for this car?

Nope this is something completely different.

I noticed it on my alt account.

At the top of the main page next to where the GTWS stuff is there is a box with Sarah and a speech bubble.

Click on it and it tells you that for a certain period any main menu book you finish you get a bonus ticket on top of what you already get.

Appears to just be a 4 star ticket.
