I know the Kona N is no more, but isn't the Veloster N still around?
From what I have been able to find, I haven't seen anywhere saying its discontinued and its appears to be the only variant of the Veloster still being produced (at least here in the States and Canada) so it would appear to be indeed.

Edit: I stand corrected as I just found an article from 2022 saying the Veloster N has been discontinued.

Whistler... If I remember correctly, Ice Arena from GT4 was located in Whistler.
Yep, was just gonna mention that. The Special Conditions rally event at Ice Arena was called the "Whistler Ice Race"

So you could say Ice Arena was the first Canadian track in the franchise, rather than Lake Louise.
Bit of a nice throwback to have some scapes there, similar to how we have some of Tahiti & Pikes Peak.

Just loading the game for the first time since Horizon's early access on May 15th. I am so ready for every one of those road cars. Will be interesting to see what the last thing I was doing on the game was, and how many credits (or few) I had when I took a sabbatical from it.

This is what I'm hoping for too.

Dunno who it was who posted those Best Motoring videos.

They had a 6-speed swapped tuner Chaser to mix things up in there.

Also, the 240Z is not the only Nissan with 5 to 6 swap. The Sileighty also gains an extra gear when upgrading.

Oddly enough the 300ZX doesn't get one, when it had it in GT6.
I posted a few BMI/Hot Version videos earlier in the thread. This one?

Yep, that's the one. Hopefully they do it, but I doubt it's going to happen.

Fingers crossed still.

I have the 4AT IRL and it's extremely underwhelming compared to my manual Soarer. The torque converter saps so much fun from the 1JZ, you're not missing much. Interestingly enough the Chaser in Horizon 6 is 4AT.
At this point in my GT7 life, I'm looking for new experiences.

I rarely actually read the PS Blog post, just check if there's any different/bigger/better pictures or more info...

... so is it just me or is this the most deranged way to summarise the known update contents I've ever read?

So it’s not just the edible I’m on?

Maybe new hashtags in the game?

Wow, the blog post actually gives us a better indication of what to do with the new cars than the game itself.

The problem is not the cars, the problem is the game that gives us nothing to do with them.
Nonetheless, this is just hyperbole.

That is THE most involved one of these articles have been when it comes to a GT7 update.

The one regarding the hypercar update was similar except it had one of those “if you get mostly answer A, you are….” .

I guess there is something strong going around Sony’s offices recently 😂

Also the “introducing 3 new world circuit” is probably the worst way the could have wrote this 🤣

I completely forgot about the strange quiz thing. Its an interesting direction two updates in a row considering before, at best you just got the same info you already knew from elsewhere.

I don't think it's deranged at all.

???
Apart from…

2. New 'World Circuits' events will be added.

The following events will be added to World Circuits.

Japanese FR Challenge 450
Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa

European Clubman Cup 600
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP Layout No Chicane

World Touring Car 600
Suzuka Circuit

I could forgive them if I could just save a setup for one copy of a car, and just buy all of its parts and copy that tune for other copies of that car in a couple of clicks.

Notes are up.

Significant physics changes! FullForce! PSSR 2!

Oh, that's a meaty update for sure.

Also S/O for the 996 GT3 getting an engine swap 17 years after the game launched!

Are we expecting these PSSR changes to have a positive effect on VR?

Huge physics update according to patch notes.

If it had an effect it would’ve been noted by now, as the game has been able to use upgraded PSSR via a system toggle for a while now. This just seems to be implementing it for the game regardless of the toggle setting.

Fixing the dead zone in controllers and the performance point system in general should make online racing a lot more fair. Maybe it will mean more pp adjustment in Sport Mode?

I must say, I am most excited about the physics changes. I hope they have done them well and driving with a controller is not negatively impacted. And yes, I do realise these can be contradicting wishes.

Anyone willing to take a Chiron to Route X and check the tyre wear? You've always been able to drive forever on one set, I wanna know if there's proper wear from centripetal forces now.

Adjusted the fuel consumption rate for the following cars:
Nissan Qashqai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power '22
Finally!

Jokes aside, that's a massive update. Reads like a long list of improvements they've been working on for a while has been finally tested and released.

A strong sign that this game will continue to receive updates and content for a while longer. Maybe GT8 is farther away than most think.

Road surface resistance (rolling resistance) has been optimised;
  ・Tyre heating and wear values have been adjusted;
・The amount of tyre grip lost when 'Grip Reduction Off Track' is set to 'Real' has been adjusted.
