I had a small heart attack when I read the 300 SEL is getting an engine swap and thought I saw 300 SL. Would have been quite an expensive donor car.

Overall, I'm excited to see how different the physics feel. Pleasantly surprised with this update, pending that.

That’s as heretical a swap as the LFA. Why would you take out a monstrous 6.8 litre V8 ?!

There is a BoP change, but at least from the RX-Vision and Cayman GT4 they aren't significant, they have gained or lost a few kg but nothing major.

They seem to have extended back up the range you can money shift, you still can't spam it but the limit is definitely higher up the rev range of the next gear than it was.

I'm sorry but why does the Caterham have a JIMNY engine swap????
Probably in reference to the Caterham Seven 170. it complies to Kei car regulation with a 0,66l 3-cylinder 84bhp Suzuki engine

That is absolutely genius from PD. Put the steelies on it and you can imagine you're in one of the 170s. Depending on what parts you can swap on it, such as a tall screen, you might be able to convincingly make two cars out of it on day one. Kudos.

Wow, those physics changes look massive on paper. Waiting to experience how that translates to the general driving and to some cars in particular

Hopefully, AI's cars hybrid systems will recharge normally while racing at a slower pace; otherwise, there will be problems during longer races.

Sophy is busted (just like the regular AI too btw) anyway since they beat your fastest lap by 5s when you don't pit and take a 30s lead gap with them anyway (rubberbanding)

But it's still better to race against Sophy than racing the regular AI who often stuck behind a GT3 for the whooole banking at Daytona lol

Edit : Sophy can now also drive cars like the Twingo or the Mercedes CLK LM, etc..
Hello my beautiful 98' LM custom race I made years ago 😁

Can someone please check if the A45 is drivable now (AWD, at least partially, and not predominantly FWD with massive wheel spin)? 🤔

I wont be able to try all this until next week.

What I try to say here is that the rabbit tip to silence rubberbanding may cause issues.

Yes - PD really should seek more opportunities in detuning the cars. There are many cars with just high performance versions available. Something so simple as swapping 120i engine to M3 to make 320i. Not missing that particular swap, but you get the idea. 😂 especially case with some extremely high spec cars, where even power restrictors cant bring them to say 500pp level.

watching Takuan's stream here and the initial feedback is... not good. Seems like the Gr.3 Mazda has excessive traction, both braking and accelerating, and certainly not in a way that he enjoys. Was that their solution to "fix" FR cars...?

Wow - that is some serious physics and tuning changes is all listed are anything bigger than tiny.

But.. DD PRO Fullforce. We got update from fanatec just to wait for GT7 update just to wait a Fanatec update? 🙄 geeezzz..

That is his opinion of what he likes. Just wait, see and test yourself. I can imagine current WT driver might not be thrilled if his driving style stops working due to update. No matter if the physics are better or worse. When you are at the top you dont want change..

We can finally use newer cars with GT Sophy such as the 499P, 963, 9X8, M Hybrid V8, 296 GT3, 911 GT3 R, Elantra R TC,...etc
Hello multi class races (IMSA-WEC)

Quick update :

Somehow the 911 GT3 R is not compatible at Road Atlanta (feels bad man 😔) and the 296 GT3 is not compatible at Hokkaido GP a.k.a. High Speed Ring.
