The Mazda is the only car that interests me.

Why isn't the Hyundai this version?

Because, we'll probably get the parts for it. We don’t need no steenkin’ race car when we can build our own. Isn’t it grand?!

I wish they would just tell us what's going on with the track situation. Seriously, what is the point of being so secretive about this? Wouldn't us knowing assuage a lot of the frustration that's being expressed when these updates happen? It's been 3.5 years since GT7 launched, I think it's alright to at least hint at the new game by now.

In regards to the significance of the Hyundai Elantra(ELANTRA?) N in the GT franchise, it’s the newest FF four door sport sedan since these “newest” four door sport sedans, in GT6. Twenty years older than the Elantra/ELANTRA:

  • Opel Vectra 3.2 V6 ‘03
  • SRT SRT4 ‘03
  • Vauxhall Vectra 3.2 V6 ‘03
  • Volvo S60 T-5 Sport ‘03

That’s it. That’s crazy.

FF four door sport sedans other than the ones above are:

  • Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6 24V ‘98
  • Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 V6 24V Sportronic ‘98
  • Honda Accord Euro-R ‘00
  • Honda Acoord Euro R ‘02
  • Mazda 323F ‘93 Mazda Familia Sedan Sport 20 ‘02
  • Mazda Protege ‘02
  • Nissan Primera 2.0 Te ‘90
  • Nissan Primera 20V(JDM & EU) ‘01
Honda FD2 would like a shoutout.
There was also the Mazda Atenza 25 something from GT 5/6

True indeed! That was an ‘08 model, which shortens the time length to 17 years between sport sedans.

I believe those Atenzas are all hatchbacks. The Mazdaspeed 6 is a four door sedan, but that’s 4WD. Same with the current Atenzas being 4WD in GT7(except the Gr.3 versions).

Sans titre.webp

This video give a lot of Gran Turismo Vibes... and sponsor... 🧐 🧐
We're getting The N one today, but this video mention the Cup Car version, "weird" no?
I know PoDy sponsor the Nurb N24, but this sponsor on the door, we will probably get the part in GT auto, but no racing interior?

The JDM Adventure appears to be a 2.0 4WD with an 8 speed auto, but what I've been reading on searching for the model's internal code (MXAA54) it's a damn CVT. So not much in the way of adding power as usual.
Try to tune transmission “Racing - full customize” and choose “Manual”. Tune the engine, i guess that 500hp + is aceptable for a 4WD SUV…

Cars
・ Hyundai ELANTRA N '23 : why not, curious to try it
・ Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R '25 : loving it ! can't wait
・ Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo : I like the look, hope driving will be interesting, not setting high hopes
・ Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V '74 : lovely !
・ Toyota RAV4 Adventure '20 : meh

Engine Swaps
・ Citroën BX 19 TRS '87 : 😱 wonder what will be available for the swap
Curious to see what the other swaps are. Especially the Silvia's

Regarding the boost function on the 'Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo,' pressing the 'Nitro/Overtake' button will engage the boost for four seconds, increasing the car's speed. (Usable up to four times in succession). Braking for a total of 20 seconds will replenish a single boost charge.
This car might actually be fun

Well every single issue about the CX.R’s implementation (minus custom race usability) has now been fixed. The battery works better, and they added manual controls to the active aero and battery deployment over 150 mph. The battery is now self sustaining, and they even adjusted the cars PP to be far lower than it was last update, so you can freely use it in Gr1 Prototype events without a nerf. Glad this car doesn’t have to be a joke anymore 🎉

Edit: they adjusted its fuel economy to be way better too. Now it can absolutely destroy Gr1 Prototype events.

That is nice, but you still have the stock interior unfortunately.
At least Hyundai were kind enough to give the Elantra a sport steering wheel. ;)

Well, I just built my first Elantra N1 Cup Car. Here are the specs:

Gotta praise PD and Hyundai for doing the widebody proper and all the affiliated parts. They even did the accurate tow strap.

Only problem is the placement of the single race exhaust. Instead of straight down the middle like the rear Cup Car, it’s on the right rear cut-out.
