Gran Turismo 7 and GT Sport User Interface Fan Art

Here is my Endurance Events 24h Le Mans UI piece which is the follow-up screen to my Endurance Events UI image. See spoiler.

As you can see it is very similar to that of GT6. This screen in GT6 is, in my opinion, near faultless so I made few changes.
I continued my Licence level colour palette - in this case blue for Endurance level events - and made the description of the event more prominent as it seems almost tucked away in GT6.

 Nice work. Really clean.

What if for arcade mode, you get to pick what the AI drives, like if you where to pick a gt500 car, you then could put gt500 cars in the line up. And be able to mix it up, like having a copen and a ford gt in the same line up if you really wanted to

That post above + grid of 26 cars, customization of AI cars and ability to give the AI your preferred driver names

Small preview on a fan art tham i am working on, shouldn't take too much since I am planning to do it simple and clean:

It would be so cool if it were to have all of these:

WARNING: This is one of the longest posts I'll make.
GT7 Arcade Mode Concept:

Single Player:

Mode Selection:

Arcade Mode Championship: Race in several races and challenges to unlock new cars, tracks, racing gear and hidden racing modes for arcade mode added to GT7. B-Spec is optional.

Event Generator: Create specialized events in order to increase the playability of the game and with the added benefits of earning cash and prize cars (in simulation mode only) in this exclusive Arcade Mode feature.

Free Play: Take part in a variety of races and other driving activities with the following modes:

Single Race: Race against computer-controlled cars on a track and car of your choice on a number of laps and/or opponents.

Time Trial: A total practice mode where you register the fastest lap time around a track with the car of your choice. There is no limit on laps, so, enjoy.

Drift Trial: A mode where drifting is heavily simulated- drifting is a strategy where cars lose grip but stay under control. It is recommended you use a rear-wheel drive car for this mode. You have two selections for this mode: Full Lap Drift (where it is a non-stop session unless you end it) and Sector Trial (where you will be tested on sectors of the track).

Time Rally Trial: This mode is where you race a full lap, with a time limit and plenty of checkpoints and plenty of computer-controlled cars for you to overtake. The more you make it through the track and overtake many opponents, the higher your score is gonna be. Hitting checkpoints will increase your time.

Drag Racing Competition: Do a drag race in Special Stage Route X's very long and speedy straight sections or any other drag strip with a car of your choice and number of opponents.

Car Bowling Showcase: Around the Top Gear Test Track, see how much bowling pins you can bowl over on a single lap, they reward points when bowled over.

Car Soccer: This insane mode around the Top Gear Test Track's Soccer Field pits cars against each other in a game of car soccer.

(NOTE: In Europe, Japan and other parts of Asia, this is called as "Car Football".)

Shuffle Mode: This one activates a random mode, with a random track and a randomly chosen car within the "All Cars In Game" category. Lap count, starting method, penalties and AI count are also at random. The only things you can choose or alter are the car, whether you want to personalize it or use the default colors, avatar personalization, tire and fuel wear, driving settings, track settings, quick-tuning, replay, data logger, saving replays, best lap replays and ghosts, leaderboards and whether you want to do an A-Spec or B-Spec race session.

Elimination Race: Race against the computer-manipulated cars, where the racer in last place is gonna go "CONTENDER ELIMINATED!!!" You have three selections for this mode: which are Full Lap Elimination, where opponents in last place get eliminated, Timed Elimination, after a set amount of 30 seconds, a racer in last place gets eliminated and Sector Elimination, where the last racer to cross the sector will get eliminated. In Timed Elimination, a race with one opponent will last 30 seconds, whereas a race with fifteen opponents will last for about seven and a half minutes.

Timed Race: Races that usually have time limits. You have the following features for this mode:

Endurance Timed Race: When the clock expires, that means it's already the final lap. The rule is simple, finish first to win.

Competitive Time Trial: You'll be racing against opponents who are trying to compete for the fastest lap time. It doesn't matter who crosses the line first. You can no longer set lap times anymore when the clock expires as it is the final lap, but the driver with the fastest lap time wins.

Stunt Driving: Around a stunt course, drive around it to pull of impressive stunts and impress the crowds. You will be scored on how well you execute your stunts, so pull off= as many as you can until the timer runs out. In Split-Screen Mode, you can compete against your friends at the same time in the same stunt course to compete against your friends to see who is the best stunt driver.

Gymkhana: Racing and stunt driving combined, race through a stunt course while trying to cross the finish line and perform unique moves such as drifting and knocking down cones, and performing jumps.

Rallycross: Rally racing across specialized rallycross circuits.

Tag (Virus): A game of car tag. One car starts out infected and will have to chase the other cars, and if the infected car rams into your car, your car will be infected. In order to win you should spend the least amount of time being infected

Demolition Derby: Rallycross racing on specialized demolition derby tracks using specialized cars. This is going to get risky, as cars around the track will get caught up crashing around.

Car Ice Hockey: A game of car ice hockey. The rules are similar to car soccer only this time it's on an ice hockey rink. You can even add teams to join you compete against others.

Monster Truck Rally: Rallycross racing around a monster truck arena. It's similar to Demolition Derby and typical Rallycross.

Two-Car Relay: In this mode, you will need to pick two cars for an event and every race lasts two laps. It's the same as a normal race, but before the second lap, you need to park your car at the car docking station to start the final lap with the second car.

Nitrous Run: This never-ending mode of incredibly speedy madness tests you on how well you use your nitrous, as such, all 2000+ cars are equipped with nitrous as default for this mode without any other modifications. Checkpoints will increase your time, and see how long you can last this entire run. Any unused nitrous is wasted by hitting checkpoints. The session is over once there is no time left remaining on the clock.

Speedtrap: On every sector on a track, see if you can reach the highest top speed. This is a one-lap race where sectors of the track are equipped with speed cameras. It doesn't matter who reaches the finish line first, so the tip here is to reach the highest total speed recorded. Beware though, failure to finish the race ahead of any racer that crosses the line first will incur small speed penalties, so it's a race to maintain your total speed level.

GT Quiz: A non-racing mode that will test all the knowledge you've gained from using the game's Museum Mode. Try to get all correct answers for a high score which will then be converted into credits for Simulation Mode! You can play against up to four players in this mode to test who is the most intelligent racer.

(This mode doesn't involve racing, so there are no pre-racing settings for this mode. Instead, you have a difficulty selector.)

Tournament: A single player or local/split screen multiplayer race mode where players compete in a set of created events for the tournament. You have to create your own events for the tournament. Race for your fame and glory!

Track Selection (with these categories):

By Kind:

World Circuits: Real-life circuits across the world, raced by many of the world's racing disciplines with a countless sea of cars racing through them.

Original Circuits: Fictional circuits created especially for the GT series.

Unique Circuits: This goes as far as circuits from other racing games brought into GT.

City Circuits: Tracks around major cities across the world, enjoy the breathtaking views, but don't get distracted during the race!

Dirt/Snow Circuits: Rally racing tracks with the dirt, mud, snow and gravel as the pavement. Only rally-ready cars can be selected in this kind of track category.

Created Tracks: Tracks made with the Course Maker.

(NOTE: The Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb is only limited to Time Trial mode only.)

"Car Search"

You can now have the option drive every single car in the game in kart tracks, and go-karts on tracks with variable weather settings.

(NOTE: When choosing Dirt/Snow tracks, some cars can't be driven, therefore lacking the ability to use Dirt/Snow tires.)

On a highlighted car of your choice before selecting it, press Triangle and it will be added to your Favorites.

If you choose not to personalize a car, you will be taken to a gallery view with the selected car, where you can choose the default colors of the car. Unlike the fact that in the Dealerships, gallery view is not available for standard cars, it is available for standard cars in Arcade Mode. Pressing Options will bring you to the car info catalog, where you can read the description of the car, and pressing Square will give you the car's complete specs.

There are a set of backdrops when viewing the cars, such as "No Backdrop", "Day Backdrop", "Sunset Backdrop", "Night Backdrop", "Dealership Backdrop", "Vision GT Backdrop #1", "Vision GT Backdrop #2", "Vision GT Backdrop #3" and "GT6 E3 Backdrop". Press Up and Down buttons to change the backdrop, and press Square for a photo mode option to take a photo of the car. Press Select if you want to view the car's info catalog.

*You start with all the cars that are in GT6, roughly 1200-1300+ cars., including the Lunar Roving Vehicle, BMW M4 Frozen Black Metallic and BMW M3 GT2 Base Model. By winning races through the Arcade Mode Championships, new cars added to GT7 will be unlocked, along with all their default colors as standard.

NOTE: DLC cars purchased and downloaded from the PS Store or through game updates will be loaded to Arcade Mode immediately, once you start the game.

Criteria for customizing a car for Arcade Mode:

*NOTE: This is similar to the "My Cars" section of the NFS games, where you can fully customize a car without having to spend money on them. Quick-tuning is also an extension of this. However, you can't use these cars outside of Arcade Mode. Pressing Triangle on the car you selected when you choose not to use manufacturer colors will take you to the Customize Car menu.

(provided it has a livery editor, options for hood designs, mirrors, carbon trunk and body kits, roof air vents, custom fenders, full-race interior options, HUD upgrades and all aero parts and body kits, pre-made vinyls, and rear wing selections for each premium car that is included in the NFS series plus many real-life aftermarket aero and body kits and rear wings.)

Quick-Tuning (applicable to all cars in the game):

(provided it has a Forza 5/Shift 2: Unleashed style of engine, drivetrain and aspiration swaps and engine tuning, with the ability to turbocharge or supercharge any car with the ability to use up to twin, triple or quad turbochargers and twin superchargers or turbosupercharging)

Power: Within car’s maximum tuning limit, for some cars that can’t reach 50% of their original power or can’t be tuned in simulation mode, their power will be tuneable by up to 50%, for electric vehicles and non-tuneable Vision GT cars, double their original power, and/or can be reduced by 50% of their original power

*For engine swaps, the criteria is also the same. Note that engine swaps are different on each car. (The higher the HP level you adjust it to, whether it has an engine swap or not, the more the best quality parts will be installed.)

Weight: Within car’s maximum tuning limit, and for cars that can't have their weight dropped (e.g. race cars and several tuned and concept cars), their weight can be dropped by up to 20% of their weight.

Transmission: Can be adjusted freely up to an auto set top speed of 500KM/H, can be adjusted further, and you can also choose whether you want to use the default transmission, five speed or six speed transmission or a fully customizable transmission on cars with customizable transmission kits.

Suspension: Tuning for ride height and spring rate will be within the car’s limits. You can also freely adjust the damper, anti-roll bar, camber and toe angle settings.

Brakes: You can freely adjust the brake balance and you can choose whether you want racing brakes on cars with customizable brakes.

Drivetrain: You can choose whether to apply a car with a fully customizable LSD unit, add twin or triple plate clutches, and torque split/AYC for 4WD cars.

Downforce: Within the car’s limit

Ballast: Can be freely adjusted, from position to weight of the ballast

Others: You can also improve the body rigidity, increase tire width, perform drivetrain swaps and put nitrous on the car and adjust nitrous settings.

Any ideas for an Arcade Mode championship where you can unlock GT7-exclusive cars and tracks as well as hidden race modes for Arcade Mode?

(I'm thinking about for Arcade Mode Championships, it should have the same number of races as GT6's career mode and should take as long as it too. I'm thinking on a way where winning races will unlock cars as the same way of Forza 2's criteria: where gold will win three cars, silver will win two cars and bronze will only win one. Each event should have a list of what cars you're going to unlock. Just like in Career, there will be no penalties for them.)

And just imagine having an arcade mode like this with really intelligent AI (like Project CARS), you'll just have fun over and over again.

It would be so cool if it were to have all of these:

WOOOOOOAAAAA! that's some nice stuff you got in there, from all the points you have there are a few already included, for example the Arcade Mode Championship, which I was reffering to as the Arcade Grand Prix, which it's pretty much the same as yours, I based this one in the arcade mode we had in GT3 and it's used to unlock cars and tracks.
Some other minor stuff for example a Settings Sheet to save or load a race settings, and something nice would also be a random select for the car selection, or the ability to choose how many oponents are on track.
What you posted here it's pretty much my idea of what the arcade mode should be, basically a game inside another game, I think if PD really wants to please both casual and hardcore gamers, arcade mode it's the perfect place to do that.
Here is another screen the description for the arcade grand prix here it's from a different menu, I've tried my best to make it sound "soooooo 90's" to emphazise the arcade nature and a little throwback to earlier arcade racers, but I think I am going to rewrite it. I am going to add a "feedback button" too, as this concept would be some kind of "testing ground" to implement new ideas and new game modes (the event generator, for example) while at the same time give the player a taste of things to come:

I'll just leave this here because I think it matches well

Have you tried a Tuning Shop menu perhaps?

I'm making an car viewer for my current design, still need to change some things but I just wanted to show more or less how would it work, originally it was going to be a part of the gallery, but I've decided to give it it's own screen, any suggestions are welcome:

Also when viewing a car more options are available, like photomode, color picker, "Autovista" :D also I was thinking of an option to select a car and change the main menu background car, I was going to put it in this menu, but I wanted to keep everything as clean as possible, also I think that option would be better fitted as a system setting in the options menu.

Master- I'll send you a PM, regarding about some ideas for backgrounding cars. Nice image though 👍

This is the options menu, I've decided to do this even tough it's the very same as GT6 (minus the icons, which unfortunately looks like they're a real picture of the wheels.)
I was trying to try and find a style that's consistent within all the options available in the main menu:

EDIT: I can't upload images in full resolution, does anyone else has this problem?

Tried to make a better version of the track selection screen, using the GT6 one as a base. All the variations/layouts would be placed under the main locations, so it would be easier to find and scroll through all the tracks. And on the bottom you could select all the different categories (World/Original/City, etc) without leaving the screen, like in GT5.

Yes, I have that issue too and have done for maybe 2 weeks now.

Your Options Screen UI is like all your previous works - Very professional and could be put straight into GT7. Keep it up!

Very nice works there Farushi. I have always thought this approach to circuit selection is infinitely more logical than that taken by PD. Ease of use and the reduction of unnecessary menu travel, to a point, should be the priority for any UI and your menus achieve that nicely.

I hope to see more work from you soon.

I love that the different layouts are located within a location sub menu, that's way better organized than GT6's current setup. Very clean, very nice and I like the return to Helvetica, I prefer it to Polyphony's standard font.

Think I'll be returning to this thread soon, it's been a very long time and I kind of ran out of ideas before. But I want to get back into UI design.

This design is one of the designs I think is an improvement.
