That aside, what track which hosts IMSA events do you think the "Salt Lake City" dot would be?
Bonneville Salt Flats??
Isn't the Speedweek sanctioned by IMSA?

Also I have seen many posting asking the same basic question, Will this possibly add tracks to our game? (Hopefully Sebring)

My hope is that it was simply announced a bit prematurely, and that something of it could still be coming down the line, especially with Spec III on the horizon. Maybe not necessarily in the form of a ton of new venues - though Indianapolis and its infield course would be splendid - but in the form of a championship in Sport Mode?

I really don't think people should be expecting much of anything from this still. PD never acknowledged it; IMSA only barely acknowledged it themselves in a throwaway comment.

In fact, GT are so low on the IMSA licensee totem pole that, in a post about how IMSA content is in video games this year, IMSA had to link to our very own GTPlanet's reporting of said throwaway comment instead of, you know, having an actual press release to link to.

I guess I'm not thinking about doing this in the GT series anymore......
