I wonder are there any surprises in spec IV. Like new chilli races. In spec II we did get a lot of new ones, but there are still some not completed like Group 4 chilli races. That wpuld be interesting.

BMW M4 should be added because it is already becoming outdated.

BMW is promoting already next gen 3/4 series.

True. It's going to be funny when the M4 finally comes and the Neueklasse is out there and in games like Forza weeks after. Same for McLaren (720 already dead, successor due soon), A similar situation goes for the Mustang, well past its midlife already.

On the other bhand, they didn't do it with Ferrari, skipping the 488 entirely (big brain time)
 
I wonder if Spec IV would be half modern picks half nostalgia picks with the cars because with the first six cars that have been revealed, three are modern (RX Vision Evo, Xiaomi VGT, Honda Stepwgn) and half nostalgia/retro (BMW M5 E60, Mugen Civic, and Citroen 2CV)

I have similar speculation, but I would replace Mclaren with different brand since mclaren had problems with licensing. We didn’t get any of their cars.

But I will get another similar shot: Lamborghini Revuelto or Huracan STO
Revuelto: It is some time on market, and could be scanned, and this is the only V12 lambo generation we don’t have.
STO: because it was in GT Movie being scanned and can be forecasting of the Huracan Evo GT3 in the future.

BTW: Did you noticed that we are getting updated EVO/new GT3 cars only for brands being used in Manufacturers Cup in GT Workd Series? This could be a hint.

McLaren is now under new ownership, so perhaps licensing can be re-negotiated again. Same goes with Bugatti.

Can the pedal box in his cars move that far forward?, It boggles my thoughts that he would be cramped in his car to the point of almost distraction in real life....i can imagine his knees would be rubbing on steering wheel....

I would hope that would be the case. We can pretty much anticipate or predict what PD will throw at us in future updates.
 
Seen a few predictions being made, so I’ll give my predictions for the last 6 cars…

As Super GT just raced at Sugo I think 3 of the 6 cars are 2024 (or onwards!) spec GT500’s so Supra (36 au TOMS) Z (23 Motul NISMO) and Civic (100 Stanley Kunimitsu) and GT is a Super GT partner after all.

So 3 left, 2 I think will be the BMW M4 & M4 GT3 (like spec 3 with the 296)

That leaves 1 left, think I’ll go with the Lancia 037.

Some experienced gamers might have 50% prediction precision which isn't bad for guessing cars in a game. If it is much lower than 50% precision level then it is a futile attempt except for some fun in wild guesses.

True, to an extant it's just for fun. There's no reward for getting it correct or anything

You might want to look back at some of the prediction threads, because that particular made-up number is wildly high.

I'd be very surprised if we got more than one correct prediction across all possible predictions for every two updates.

Of course, there are some who may know more about an upcoming update than others, but that's no longer prediction.

I mean, it's always been about the fun, so... yeah, sure. I don't know why it would need to be above a "50% precision level" to not be "futile" to have fun.

I'm just thinking of a worse case scenario as Polyphony has a tendency to add things with a "catch" in the current GT. Which hurts my optimism whenever a new feature is announced.

Put into words my exact thoughts. So many returning features are implemented worse, to be blunt. I specifically had this thought when it came to the feature I'm most looking forward to which is Shuffle Racing. I'm excited then I remember that they might make an entirely unnecessary change that will put a damper on the fun.

Yeah, with that example in the teaser being the Gr.4 Trophy among road cars. One player at the back of the field gets it and has to pass all cars before the end of the race. :lol:

I realized that the Toyota GR010 Hybrid has never had its EVO joker parts and the digital position display added, yet some of the other Hypercars (BMW, Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche) actually do.

I was so disappointed to discover I cannot equip my E36 M3 with a Turbo…

Also the BAC Mono, BMW M3 E46, Lexus LFA, Lamborghini Aventador and Huracan, as well as some Porsche 911 models come to mind as cars that unusually lack bolt-on turbo or supercharger kits.

That was GT6. GT Sport had no customizations outside of wheels and the M4 Safety Car showed up as its own car.
